My name is Tess, but everyone calls me the crazy wiener lady (probably)🐾
I breed dachshunds, but calling it “breeding” doesn't really explain what I truly am doing.
It’s worrying, covered in all things that come with birth, which graduates into socializing and teaching! Endless research, unreal amounts of tears when things go wrong, and my husband right behind me, picking up the pieces after 10+ hour work days. My puppies are my life the minute they are conceived, right behind all of my daughter's, who've decided to grow up (which I'm mad about).
I’m overly obsessed with breeding dogs that are bulletproof. Healthy as can be, rock steady, and confident from the jump. These pups get nonstop hands on time, thrown straight into the REAL world madness with kids running wild, cows causing chaos, ATVs screaming, and every other curveball life throws. Zero coddling here, which brings us brave puppies who will transition with ease when it's time to go to their real homes!
Every cute pic you see hides the ugly truth: me on my knees scrubbing I don't even know what at 3 a.m., staring at test results till my brain melts, cracking up at their insane mom chasing rampages, and losing sleep over every tiny detail because these dogs actually mean something to me.
I screw up plenty. I’m far from perfect. But I’m all in, dedicated, constantly learning, and I absolutely love every second.
Big thanks to everyone who’s handed me their trust, took the dive into welcoming one (or more 😘) of my babies, backed the whole operation, rode along with the madness, or just hyped me up online. That stuff literally makes me cry 🥹
So don't judge me, rolling around in my smashed car, with that husband obsessed custom plate. I love my life and everything that comes with it!
As many times as I've cried and yelled and said "I'm DONE", I've realized I can't actually convince myself to stop. This world my husband and I have created for ourselves and our children is the BEST world there is to be a part of. And I KNOW there are more than a few people out here that will vouch for that 🥰
