As we near the 1 year anniversary of Gold Grooming opening it's doors, a lot of emotions have come up. Jen is forever grateful for the love and support from Harmony and surrounding communities. We have wonderful clients and amazing dogs that come for our services. This has been the best year a new business could have hoped for.

We thank all of you for the support we have received and are excited for future years to come.

Running a business isn't easy, and especially as a first time business where the unknown weighed heavily at the beginning. It has been a big endeavor to start and we hit the ground running. From our first client, a wonderful golden retriever named Max, to our biggest clients, such as the Newfie Ovi, down to our tiniest clients, Krull, Pixie, and more, we love all of our clients. We look forward every day to meeting your pet's needs in their grooming care.

As with any business, needs are constantly evaluated and changes made to better accommodate both business costs and client needs. Have no fear, we are not going anywhere and our pricing structure will remain the same for the foreseeable future.

One change we will be implementing is beginning August 1, 2025, we will be going to appointment only year round. While Jen is in the shop, our big yellow Dog Treat flag will fly high so as you are out and about, feel free to stop in. This change allows for a better work life balance for Jen. Grooming is a rewarding career and super fun with all the dogs (and cats!) but can be physically tolling on the body. For this reason, to ensure Jen is able to groom for many years to come, the appointment only structure will allow her to take care of herself and still care for your pets.

This will only affect walk in nail trims, however, you can book all of our services online at goldgroomingmn.com, including nail trim only. You can also call us at 507-601-0760 to see if we're in before heading down for a nail trim.

We look forward to caring for your pets for many years to come.
