The RGVHS monthly Vaccine Clinic is this Saturday, and we'd like to provide everyone with quick guide on how to create a safe event for their pets!

Every pet must be safely INSIDE of your vehicle, and each cat needs their own carrier. These procedures help ensure that your pets are safe during the vaccine event, and ready for their vaccinations! Thank you for your cooperation! 🐶🐱💖💖

A few months ago, a student organization from Brownsville Veterans Memorial ECHS walked through our doors and took the time to learn about our organization and the work we do for the pets of the Rio Grande Valley. These incredible students were a part of Brownsville ISD’s Youth in Philanthropy, and were researching local nonprofits that their organization could potentially donate towards. After months of anticipation, we were invited to a special ceremony at the TSC Performing Arts Center, where multiple schools from all across the RGV announced the nonprofit they chose to make a donation to!

We're extremely grateful to the amazing students at Veterans Memorial ECHS for their incredible donation, and for believing in the incredible work we do at the RGVHS Shofner Center! It was a pleasure to have you all at our shelter during your research period, and it's an honor to continue creating a positive impact for the pets of the RGV! We truly can't wait to see what these future community leaders achieve next! 💖🎉🎉

Dipper has found his fur-ever home! Although we'll miss having his tiny-and-mighty attitude at our shelter, we're filled with joy now that he has a home! Wishing him and his new owner the best lives together! 🐶💖🎉
