🐾❤️ One repaired garage door, one adventurous 5 year old DEAF Boston Terrier, and one family’s worst nightmare! ❤️🐾

Meet Bindi, a 5 year old Boston Terrier who decided to test Mom’s newly repaired garage door… and took off on an unexpected adventure!

After 24 hours of searching with no sightings, Mom was exhausted, terrified, and desperate for answers. Then, a friend of a friend recommended she reach out to our team. That one recommendation would change everything.

🚨 OUR TEAM WENT INTO ACTION!

📢 We immediately redesigned Bindi’s missing pet flyer. FLYERS MATTER, BUT THE RIGHT FLYER IN THE RIGHT LOCATIONS MATTERS MORE!

🚁 5 :30AM: Bernie Hilditch launched the thermal drone, searching and mapping areas based on lost pet behavior.

🐾 7 AM: K-9 Luna identified a focus area at the railroad tracks leading off the main road, in the OPPOSITE direction from where Mom and Dad had been searching!

LESS THAN 20 MINUTES AFTER OUR TEAM PROVIDED AN ACTION PLAN AND LEFT… MOM RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE!

A man sent a text message, he had Bindi. Although he spoke limited English, he had seen our flyer and recognized the icons showing that he could send a text message or pictures.

This is exactly why we emphasize that flyers matter! A well designed flyer can communicate important information, even when there is a language barrier. In Bindi’s case, those simple icons helped this man feel comfortable to reach out.

🔎 THIS IS WHERE OUR LICENSED PRIVATE DETECTIVE EXPERIENCE CAME INTO PLAY!

After reviewing the messages, one detail stood out.

BINDI HAD BEEN PICKED UP COMING OFF THE RAILROAD TRACKS that K9 Luna showed dog handler Ryan O'Connor was the area of focus!

The man inquired about a reward. We explained Maryland’s laws regarding pets as property, and made it clear that Bindi needed to be returned to her rightful owners.

We coached Mom and Dad through the process with the local police for a safe return process.

In less then 20 hours reaching out to us …..
BINDI WAS FINALLY HOME! ❤️

THIS IS WHY EXPERIENCE MATTERS!

Understanding lost pet behavior, developing a strategy, creating flyers, flying thermal drones, scent specific K9’s, recognizing potential scams, and knowing how to handle unexpected situations.

😂 “Have you guys been doing anything the past two months?”

Oh, you know… not much! 🤣🐾

Just investigating leads, flying thermal drones, following K-9 noses, setting traps, watching cameras, losing sleep, drinking way too much coffee, and helping reunite missing pets with their families! 🐕🐈🚁❤️

30 dogs, 12 cats & 1 person assisted to safety.

Other than that, we've been pretty bored! 😂

But behind every long night, every mile traveled, and every hour spent searching is an animal that needs us and a family desperately waiting for answers. ❤️🐾

Because rescue isn't just what we do… it's what drives us.

We do it for the scared, the lost, the ones who can't ask for help, and the families who refuse to give up hope.

The mission never stops.

Three legs. One determined cat💕

Bo is a 16 month vulnerable three legged indoor/outdoor cat who loved exploring, but he always came home.

Even with only three legs, Bo was incredibly agile. He knew his yard, loved his family, and was deeply bonded with the other animals at home. He often stayed out late, so Dad would head down to the barn area around dusk to bring him in.

But on October 9, something was different.
Bo didn’t come home.

Dad reached out to us on October 12, fearing the worst. We provided coaching and created a plan for Bo. Dad became more concerned with the predators in the area and requested additional assistance to locate Bo.

🐕 K-9 Luna and Ryan O'Connor tracked Bo’s scent to narrow the search area, while Bernie Hilditch searched from above with the thermal drone.

Dad had his doubts. Was Bo even still in the area? Was his little boy still alive?

We explained that we trust K-9 Luna, and we trust her training provided by Kimberly A Thompson. We guided Dad through the feeding station strategy and reminded him of three things:

❤️ PATIENCE. HOPE. FAITH

But Dad still struggled to believe Bo was out there alive. And we understood. When your beloved pet is missing, fear can easily overpower hope.

Then, on Saturday less then 72 hours after K9 Luna tracked, came the news we’d all been waiting for…

🎉❤️ BO WAS HOME! SAFE AND SOUND!

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t searching. It’s holding on to hope when your heart is telling you to fear the worst.
