Bellroy had a fun weekend at Tryon for the PSJ St. Patrick’s day show as well as IEA Zone 4 Finals! We had mostly new partnerships at this show who had much success! We also had a VIP guest in who took a break from her studies at Clemson to help out, we missed you!!

🍀 Lakonia B and Lauren Bader stepped into the jumper ring together and had great rounds and many ribbons all weekend! Not only did they earn top ribbons, but were also able to successfully move up and stayed in the ribbons. After only knowing each other for 2 weeks these girls are ones to watch for in the coming months!
🍀 Cornet Cartier L and Casey Chafik started their partnership with a reserve champion in the age group equitation, 6th in the St. Patrick’s day derby, and many other top ribbons throughout the weekend!
🍀 Just a Little Salty and Georgia Walker were reserve champion BOTH days in the walk/trot division winning the equitation class both days en route to earning the reserve ribbon. Awesome job Georgia!
🍀 Just a Little Salty and Maggie Walker were Champion BOTH days in the walk/trot/canter also winning the equitation class both days! Maggie also represented Bellroy at the IEA Zone 4 finals in the walk/trot and ended up 7th! Way to go Maggie!!
☘️ Taylor Bohac and Lakonia B cruised around the Hunter ring earning good ribbons in the 2’9 green hunters.
🍀 Katherine Pearse and Cordino earned ribbons in the adult hunters and PSJ adult medal. They also ended up in the top 10 of the St. Patrick’s day derby.

That is a wrap on this year’s regular season IEA! We closed out the year with a bang HOSTING our very first show! 🤩

Both the middle and high school teams were reserve champion for the day, congrats girls, we are so proud of you! 🥈🥈

Beyond the ribbons and rides, you all pitched in to make the show run smoothly. Whether it was digging trenches during the week to dry out the ring, caring for our horses, cobwebbing, or cleaning tack you all stepped up.

Lastly, thank you to the parents for your support and hard work to help make this show happen. We appreciate you all!

Our work is not over however as we now need to prepare our individual qualifiers for regionals! Stay tuned for results from that in February!

Would it be an IEA show weekend without insane weather? 🌧️💨🥶

Regardless of the weather both the middle and high school teams had a fantastic weekend! The high school team finished reserve high point team BOTH Saturday and Sunday while the middle school team took home the top champion honors on Sunday! 🏆🥇🥈🥈

On top of showing the girls also had the task of taking care of three Bellroy horses who tagged along for the weekend Dino, Sq**rt, and Reagan. All ponies were perfect and we couldn’t be happier with our team.

A mexican team dinner was a MUST and such a blast on Saturday followed by some night check bandage rolling competitions to keep learning fun 😋

On to our HOME show on Saturday as the last show of the season before regionals in February!

Bellroy is back from a week at WEC winter wonderland! It was nice to thaw out after our freezing and wet week at SCHJA finals. The ponies even got into the holiday spirit with their Christmas braids! 😍🎄🎅🏼

🎄Casey Chafik and “Clearville” had a good week competing in the children’s hunters but this team really stepped it up competing in the THIS medal for the first time! They earned a top 5 finish against some TOUGH competition! They also earned top ribbons in their age group equitation. Way to go Casey and Villie!
🎄 Ava Bird and “Popeye’s Lark” partnered together again this time in the crossrail division. Ava and LJ had great rounds and earned many top 5 placings in their second ever show together and her first time competing over fences!

We are so proud of our horses and riders on an extremely successful year of learning and growing both on and off the horse. Time for a break to celebrate the holidays with friends and family before heading back to WEC in 2026! ✨

Bellroy stables had a great but cold weekend at finals! We could not be more proud of our horses and riders!

❄️ Katherine Pearse and “Cordino” won the Adult equitation medal final, were reserve champion in the adult hunters, and earned two seconds in the adult equitation in just their second show together!
❄️ Casey Chafik and “Clearville” were 4th in the Junior equitation medal final and had wonderful trips in the 3ft hunters as well as earning points towards qualifying for next years equitation finals!
❄️ Taylor Fordney had a solid round and flat ride in the Junior equitation final for a top ten finish!

Stay tuned for more as Bellroy heads to WEC and some much needed sunshine next week to thaw out! ☀️
