Aanii!

Please join us Sunday, September 21st, 2025, to commemorate the passing of PL103-324, which reaffirmed our government-to-government relationship with the United States. When our leaders accomplished this monumental goal, we celebrated with a pow wow at Susan Hall at Greensky Hill in Charlevoix.

This year, we will combine the annual Sovereignty Day Celebration and the Traditional Jiingtamok; to remember that first powwow as the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians and to recognize that we still practice our beautiful traditions at one of our first properties, Osborne Road, in Harbor Springs!

With the usual date for the Traditional Jiingtamok (9/13) so close to September 21st (Sovereignty Day), and the 2025 Nme’ Celebration happening in Wolverine, MI on September 13th, celebrating our sovereignty and holding our traditional pow wow together made the most sense.

We will be sharing more details soon, such as vendor info., event times, parade registration, etc. Please reach out with any questions!
