We founded our group in honor of a dear little dachshund named Sophia Grace. Sophia was a sweet little 12-year old dachshund who was rescued from a situation where she spent all her life without receiving any medical care. When she came into rescue she was severely malnourished, sickly and had to have nearly all her teeth pulled. Through the "Grace" of so many selfless contributors we were able to

get her the medical care that she so badly needed, and had been denied all her 12 years on earth. Sophia Grace lived out her final years in her forever home in Michigan where she thrived and grew stronger each day. It is in her honor that we founded our organization, and we will honor her with every dachshund we are able to help now and for many years to come!

🎉 IT'S A PUPPY PARTY! 🎉

When Snickers the stray wandered into our care, we had no idea she was about to throw the CUTEST surprise party ever —with 5️⃣ adorable puppies as the guests of honor! 🥳🐾

After weeks of snuggles, milk mustaches, and playful chaos, these little party animals have graduated from mom’s milk bar and are now living their best lives in foster homes while waiting for forever homes. 🍼➡️🐕 And Snickers? She’s kicking back like the queen she is 👑, enjoying all the naps and treats after raising her mini-me squad!

🐾 Happy Tails: Forever Home Edition! 🐾

We’re bursting with joy to share some heartwarming updates about these precious pups who found their happily ever afters! ❤️

Hudson 🐶 Originally a shelter pull, Hudson needed a new foster home when another rescue couldn’t find a foster for him. He’s now safe and loved with his new family!

Ben 🐕 This gentle 12/13-year-old toothless pup lost his mom when she moved to a nursing home. But fate stepped in—his new mom met him at the Pawsitive Ohio event and it was love at first sight! 🥰 Senior dogs deserve all the love, and Ben hit the jackpot!

Leeah 💜 After 11 years with her beloved human, this little girl’s world turned upside down when her person passed away. She’s taken a little while to adjust (those mournful howls break our hearts 💔), but with patience and love, she’s learned to trust and love again and now has a new mom to spend her life with!

Mister’s 🐾 When his family welcomed a baby, they realized they couldn’t give him the time he deserved. Now, he’s thriving in his new home with two furry siblings to play with—talk about a happy ending!

🐾 Piper’s *Very Serious* Injury… Or So She Claims 🐾

Piper *may or may not* have hurt her paw on today’s walk—but she’s certainly acting like it’s a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions. (Though her parents suspect drama, given this happens roughly every 10th walk. 🧐)

But when her dog siblings lost their minds over a groundhog under the shed? Suddenly, her "injured" paw was *miraculously* healed as she rocketed off the couch to join the chase. 🚀😂

…Only to remember her *debilitating condition* once the fun was over. 🎭

This girl keeps life interesting, that’s for sure. 💖

Boots: The Cuddle Commander 🫡

Attention, blanket hoarders and lap enthusiasts! I'm here to report that I, Boots, have officially perfected the art of snuggling. 😌 My mission: find a human companion to serve as my personal heating pad and blanket fort architect. I'll even provide the tiny, but mighty, guard barks to announce your every arrival (and departure, and thought). ☺️

I’m a 12-pound, 6-year-old Chihuahua mix, and while I may be small, my personality is pure dynamite. 🧨 I'm house-trained, great with kids and other pets, and always ready for an adventure. I do have a few… quirks.

My "tiny guard dog" bark is more like a full-blown alarm system, so apartment dwellers, you’ve been warned! 🚨 I’m also an expert at claiming laps and snacks as my own. But hey, a little training for a lifetime of love is a pretty good deal, right? 😉

If you have a securely fenced yard, a whole lot of love, and a lap that’s ready to be a throne, then I’m the dog for you. Think you can handle a cuddle commander? 🐾
