🐾 The Hard Truth About Rescue 🐾

We wish we could say yes to every dog that needs us. Every owner surrender. Every stray wandering the streets. Every plea for help. But the truth is… we can’t.

There are always more dogs in need than there are foster homes available.
And every time we have to say no, it breaks our hearts a little more.

We do this because we love dogs — deeply, fiercely, unconditionally. But love alone isn’t enough.
Without fosters, we can’t open our doors to the next dog who needs saving.

Even if donations come in (and we’re so grateful when they do), a dog still needs a place to land — a couch to curl up on, a person to show them kindness, and a home where they can start to heal. Boarding is sometimes our only option, but it’s not a long-term solution. It’s expensive, and it’s no substitute for the comfort of a loving home.

We wish we had funds and housing for every last one. We are out of money and out of room. Support your local rescue. Some of us get no government help.

After thirty years in rescue, still too many needing help. A plea from the true victim of careless owners, a kitten destined to live on the streets, no chance for a loving home! Too many still need help from rescues, fosters that have no space, no funds, no strength left for "Just one more!" Help eliminate cat overpopulation humanely by spaying or neutering your cat!
