I always recommend that new puppy parents set up a virtual visit with Michelle ahead of going home or shortly after. For those that haven’t yet, she shared this great little basics class she recorded on YouTube. I wish I had been able to give this link out sooner! But worth a watch all the same as I imagine many of you are settling into managing puppy behavior. By all means, reach out to schedule a one on one consult with Michelle if you want to dig deeper. She is awesome! She also recommended Rocky Kanaka’s page so look him up. He works with shelter dogs but has great info in behavior. Happy Training!

Happy Saturday everyone! As families settle into puppy life I am certain one big theme is: puppy nipping! Puppies do a lot with their mouths and have to learn how to be with humans outside their pack. Sharing this little video clip recommended by the person that did our temperament testing. Mama Tonica is missing her babies a bit but she is settling back into life as my Velcro girl. We are both wishing these adorable puppies well as they navigate the craziness of first year puppy life with their new families! Wishing everyone a happy and healthy summer of snuggles, training, patience, a sense of humor, and puppy play dates. It’s a huge undertaking to bring a puppy from a little two month old rascal to a settled, amazing companion, but we have faith in our families and in the potential of these amazing pups ❤️
