Have a REACTIVE dog? Don’t yell at your dog, that can create more stress and make the reactivity worse. Don’t ‘comfort’ your dog, they can perceive this as you praising their reactive behavior, making it stronger. Instead use some neutral communication such as a sit, recall or heel. If they learn to focus on these things, it will reduce and even eliminate the reactivity. Need help getting them to perform the commands under heavy distraction? We can help!
