Rabbit Ridge Hello! We're a family-run rabbitry in Central California, specializing in New Zealand rabbits and dedicated to meeting the Standard of Perfection.

We are a registered breeder through ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) and specialize in blue, red and broken varieties. We offer pedigreed and non-pedigreed rabbits. If a rabbit is purchased it will be assumed that you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions. Before placing a deposit, please keep in mind the responsibility, years of commitment and expense to take care o

f an animal. All rabbits are first come first serve. We will not promise or reserve a rabbit to anyone until we have received a deposit. Warranty:
A 100% refund of deposit paid or the purchase price of the rabbit(s), if paid in full, will be provided if the rabbit(s) become subject to a medical issue prior to pickup (ie. fell ill or death). We will not refund the cost of the rabbit(s) if the buyer has a change of heart. Pick-Up:
Buyers have the option to come to our home for pickup or rabbit(s) may be placed on a transport. Buyers coming to our home must come prepared by bringing a travel cage or animal crate to take your rabbit(s) home in. Remember to also bring your remaining balance for your bunny! Rabbit(s) placed on transport will be weighed and photographs taken prior to loading. Balance must be paid in full prior to rabbit(s) boarding.

And that’s a wrap…

Yesterday, we watched as all of our rabbits, cages, and supplies were picked up and taken to their new home. It was a day we knew was coming, but that didn’t make it any easier.

We ended up selling much earlier than planned. It wasn’t an easy decision—none of this has been—but sometimes it’s better to just rip the bandaid off.

Walking into the empty rabbit room was hard. It’s strange how quickly a place that was so full of life can feel so empty overnight. These rabbits were more than just animals—they were little pieces of our family.

Even through the tears, we made sure the fair kids will still get their meat pens and fryers in just a few months. That was important to us, and we’re glad we could make it happen.

Our kids said goodbye, petting their favorites one last time. And just when I thought I’d held it together, Tucker brought me a drawing he made—because he knew I was sad. 💙 That completely undid me. It reminded me of how much love has been wrapped up in this rabbitry, and how deeply it touched every part of our lives.

We’re so incredibly thankful for the support, encouragement, and kindness we’ve received from fellow breeders, transporters, buyers, friends, and family. If you’re looking for rabbits in the future, we’d be happy to pass along the contact info of the buyer.

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to make…

With a heavy heart, I’ve come to the painful decision to sell out of my rabbitry. As I head into my final year of law school, I know I won’t be able to give the time, attention, and dedication that my rabbits and breeding program truly deserve. This isn’t a choice I’ve made lightly — it’s one I’ve struggled with deeply.

The rabbitry will remain in operation until late August or early September, after the final round of fair rabbits has been picked up.

• (1) 24x36 KW apartment unit (6-holes) with poly trays

We have blue and broken blue New Zealands available from Ghost’s, Mable’s, and Dawn’s litters—both bucks and does. They’ll be ready to hop in just a couple of weeks. Dawn’s litter of solid blues would be a great fit for the Mid State Fair if anyone’s looking for meat pens or fryers.
