This is going to be a long one so bear with me because it’s important!

Stephanie and I first of all want to say a belated Happy Thanksgiving and we hope you all enjoyed your time with your families!

We also wanted to reach out to everyone to address the new illness that people are seeing across the country in their dogs. This is a respiratory illness that initially presents like kennel cough with the possibility of coughing,sneezing, lethargy, and fever. As far as we are aware there have no been reported cases in the area but we are doing everything we can to combat this before it even starts. We are taking extra sanitation precautions as well as keeping an extra eye on your babies while they are in our care. If any symptoms are noticed in the salon you will be contacted to pick up immediately. Some of the best things that you can do at home to be proactive about this issue is first and foremost be sure that your pets are all up to date on any and all vaccines. We only require rabies in the salon but always strongly encourage every pet have all of the vaccines. It has also been suggested to avoid any kind of pet friendly areas including dog parks and pet friendly stores. Please keep an eye on your babies at home and if they have any kind of symptoms that are unusual contact your vet asap and have them seen and don’t hesitate to reach out to us and we can get you rescheduled once they’re checked out and cleared. We are taking this issue very seriously in order to keep your babies as safe as we can while they are in our care.

We hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season, and want to wish you a happy new year as well!
With the coming of the new year, we will be making some changes here at the salon. We will be sending out new agreements for everyone so we have everything up to date in our system. This agreement must be signed for the safety of all your babies. We cannot groom your fur baby without the consent form signed.
Also, it is with a very heavy heart that we have to make some changes in our pricing. We've managed to make it through the pandemic without doing this, but unfortunately with the rising prices of everything, we have to make adjustments accordingly to keep our doors open.

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving!

Things have been a little crazy here in the salon as we came in Wednesday morning to find that our water heater in the bathroom decided to leak and there was water and ceiling tiles everywhere. Thus does not effect our baths thank goodness because we have a separate water heater for that. We are working on getting that taken care of but it has put us behind on call backs and such a bit. If you have tried to reach out to us and we havent gotten back to you it’s not on purpose, I promise! I’m going to be doing my best today to be sure that I get back with everyone who’s left on my list. Again I’m so sorry for all the delays and I promise we will get with you ASAP. We really appreciate your patience!

Hey everyone! Just posting an update and reminder about our policies here in the salon. We will be having everyone initial and agree to our policies when you bring your babies in (this will only be required once a year) so that we have your information on file. This also includes an agreement that you understand scheduling/cancellation policies, that we have updated health information on your pet, and an official release to have your pet treated in the event of an emergency. We are posting this here to help you all stay informed, and also have a chance to read through everything instead of feeling rushed here at the salon. We have been open a little over a year now and are finding our groove and learning as we go, and appreciate you all for supporting a local small business while we work out all the kinks.

The Release & Grooming Consent Form is valid for all grooming services provided by Doggie Stylin Grooming Salon.

Payments/Cancellations/Fees

● I understand that should I not remit payment immediately, my pet will not be returned to me and an hourly boarding fee of $60 will be applied in addition to the service cost. Initials: _____
● I understand that once I have been contacted and made aware that my pet is ready for pick up I have a grace period of one hour to collect my dog before being charged a daycare fee of $15 per every 15 minutes past the hour grace period. Initials: _____

● As indicated in Doggie Stylin Grooming Salon’s Mandatory Policies; all cancellations require 48 hours advance notice to the agreed upon grooming date. Should I cancel my appointment with less than 48 hours notice, or no-show to my appointment, I will be charged 50% of the cost of the groom. Initials: _____
● If payment is not remit immediately, I acknowledge that my file will be sent to collections for legal action, and potential police involvement for service fraud. Initials: _____
● Should I repeat any of the aforementioned actions (Tardiness to appointments, not keeping appointments, tardiness in picking up my pet(s), etc.) I will be subject to a non-refundable down-payment of the base price of the groom to secure all my future appointments.

If I attempt to drop off your pet and have not sent in the e-copy of the required and up-to-date vaccination records, nor have it in my possession, this will be considered a
“no-show” to my appointment. In this event, I will be invoiced the full amount of the missed groom, and payment is to be rendered immediately on site. Initials:____

Health and Safety
● I understand I must disclose any and all medical conditions prior to the agreed upon appointment date, as per Doggie Stylin's Mandatory Policies document.
Medical conditions are subject but not limited to: Skin conditions, Heart conditions, Seizures, Hip Dysplasia, Missing/Broken Teeth, Arthritis/Osteoarthritis, Deafness Blindness, Growths, etc. Doggie Stylin’s priority is my pet’s health and safety and reserves the right to refuse service, should they feel the grooming experience would amplify any stress or risk to pre-existing conditions in my pet. ● I understand that Doggie Stylin reserves the right to refuse service to patrons whose pets may pose a health and safety threat to Doggie Stylin as well as those who may be deemed unfit to groom (i.e. senior pets, pets unable to stand, pet’s unable to control bodily functions, severe heart conditions, compromised autoimmune disorders, etc.). Doggie Stylin will contact the Pet Parent immediately in this event and discuss next steps. It will be at the Pet Parent’s discretion and expense should they wish to continue the groom. ● I understand that Doggie Stylin will not be liable should allergic reactions occur to the use of the manufacturer of any products. I understand that I am to disclose any skin sensitivities prior to my pet’s groom and will provide any medical-grade shampoos for my pet’s groom.

● I understand that should my pet have repetitive matting problems (i.e., severe matting from infrequent grooming,
neglected coat, etc.) the base cost(s) associated for their grooms will be subject to increase. Initials: _____
● I understand that Doggie Stylin will not be liable for any redness, irritation, skin tears, bruising, etc. that may occur resulting in the removal of matting or neglected coats. Initials: _____
● I understand that if fleas are discovered on my pet, a flea shampoo will be used and additional charges may be applied. Initials: _____
*Doggie Stylin will assess the severity of matting at drop off time and discuss the potential associated costs.
*Additional charges are based on extra time required to groom, and severity of mats. Should additional matting be uncovered during the grooming process, the groomer will contact the pet parent and supply the pet parent with pictures.

Hello everyone!
We wanted to give yall a quick update! We are back and have been working hard to play catch up with all the appointments we had to move from when we had covid. One thing we've had a few complaints about is that we don't answer the phone in the salon. We understand the frustration you may have when you call and cant get a hold of us, but please understand it's just the two of us here. When we have dogs on our tables, we absolutely will not walk away from them for safety reasons. If we stopped, got the dogs unhooked and put them down to answer the phone every time it rang, we would never get your babies finished! If you need to book an appointment, please leave a message on our voicemail, as we do return all messages left as soon as we can! As always we can be reached right here on Facebook as well! We appreciate all of you so much!

Hello again everyone. We hope you've all had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to bring in the new year!

Unfortunately, we have to close our doors for longer than anticipated. We have both tested positive for covid, and will be isolating in accordance with cdc guidelines. We will be reaching out to you if you have an upcoming appointment with us, and working with you all to get your babies back on our schedule. We appreciate your understanding and patience with us as we try to rework everything.

When we return, we will be asking that you please wear a mask in the salon during drop off and pickup. We are so sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to you, and will do what we can to get everyone in as soon as possible once it's safe to do so.

We will also be closed on new years day, but after that our regular schedule of Wednesday through Sunday will resume.
