Hey everyone! First, I apologize for anyone I haven’t gotten back to, I have been sleeping a lot!
Secondly, I GOT THE CALL! today I am 15 days post kidney transplant! Which does also mean I am not working at the moment, and won’t be for 4-6 weeks. I am going to have to phase up dog sizes as my weight restriction lifts. I’m currently at 5lbs and going crazy, lol! But I am following the rules!
This month will be the first nail trim clinic I will be skipping. Next month I plan to do one with help 🙂
I did create a fundraiser for this time as I had a lot of things stacked up when this call happened. If you donate, I appreciate it, and if you don’t, I still appreciate you!! Thank you to each every one of you for supporting my business and trusting me with your babies. This is such a joyous time for me. I do have recommendations for other groomers so you can text me for that!

So as most (some?) of you guys know, I am in kidney failure/on dialysis and have been for approx 3 years this go round. I finally started working up with VCU to get on the “list” as it is a bigger program and more willing to work with my high antibody count 🙂
After all of the testing and visits and driving to Richmond, I received the news last week that I am officially approved medically to be listed!

This is very exciting for me 🙂 but I also wanted to tell everyone as if I receive my “call” I will have to cancel indefinitely (I will be out 2-3 months). I hope one day soon to be able to have a slightly more normal schedule without the “second job” of dialysis!

I am going to post the information for living donors on here when I receive it just for better reach.
