🎆 Fourth of July Reminder from Shinnecock Animal Hospital 🐾
Fireworks can be frightening and stressful for many pets. If your dog or cat experiences anxiety during loud noises, now is the time to pick up any prescribed sedatives or calming medications before the holiday weekend.
Please don’t wait until the last minute — medication refill requests increase quickly this time of year, and we want to make sure your pets stay safe and comfortable.

Helpful holiday reminders:
🐶 Keep pets safely indoors during fireworks
🐱 Create a quiet, secure space at home
🎵 Turn on calming music or white noise
🏷️ Double-check collars, ID tags, and microchip information

💙🐾 A Fond Farewell to Dr. Tierney 🐾💙

After 10 incredible years with Shinnecock Animal Hospital, we are sad to share that Dr. Tierney will be moving on to a new chapter.

We cannot thank her enough for her dedication, compassion, and the countless ways she has cared for our patients, clients, and team over the years. Her commitment and kindness have made a lasting impact on our hospital family, and she will truly be missed.

Dr. Tierney will be continuing her veterinary journey at a hospital closer to home and her family, and while we are sad to see her go, we are excited to see what the future holds for her.

Please join us in wishing Dr. Tierney all the best in this next chapter. We are forever grateful for the time, care, and heart she has shared with us. ❤️🐾
