AKA “Rocky Raccoon”

Rocky is a lovely 7-year-old dapple grey gelding. He has the sweetest personality and disposition and is a people pleaser. He is polite and great to be around, making him a barn favorite. He has been with us for three and a half years, and in this time, he’s done it all. He’s been to hunter/jumper shows, dressage shows, cattle moves, and trail rides. He’s carried many different riders in the last couple of years and is comfortable in both the indoor and outdoor arenas. He’s great for the farrier, currently sporting a set of front shoes due to our rocky trails, but he spends every winter barefoot. He’s a good boy for the vet and is up to date on all vaccines, dental, and deworming. He loads up and trailers excellently, stands well for bathing, and can stand tied for hours. He’s lived out in a paddock with both geldings and mares and is also happy in a stall with turnout. No maintenance required, he does have a cosmetic blemish on his left hind, but it doesn’t bother him or affect performance, no vices, can be ridden in a snaffle or leverage bit.

See you this Friday and Saturday for our last bit of Christmas on the farm magic. The mini ponies will be out and about, Mrs Claus will be running her shoppe with discounts on everything, we’ll have hot cocoa, and Skalkaho Meat company will be running deals on beef. 🎄
Parking will be right by the barn entrance this weekend.

After our amazing day of Christmas on the Farm we’ve decided to keep our store open for a couple of days next week, all items will be 20-50 % off. So if you saw something you loved, come back and snag it at a discounted price.

Handmade wreaths, fresh Christmas centerpieces, hand poured candles, and more.

We’ll have hot cocoa, and the mini ponies will be out to meet and greet everyone along with Mrs Claus ( with her infamous naughty and nice list).

Skalkaho Meat company will also have beef available for purchase.

The wonderful lesson ponies of Skalkaho Riding School will be working all day from 10am to 4pm. This is a chance for a wonderful pony ride on the farm for kids of all ages. 🐴🎄
