Crossbred sow looking for new home. Born 12/15/23. Sired by Boot (2023 Ohio State Fair Grand Champion boar). Her mother was a pure bred Hampshire sired by Modern Marvel. She has the structural correctness of a purebred with some added cross extras. Has had one litter of 10 and has already cycled once. Looking to get $200 but am open to offers. Last one in the crate is Dottie. ( No current picture on this one because of the snow🥶).
She is a (Square Up x Tremors) bred by Klingel show pigs and was Champion Spot at the Butler County Jr Fair show and Reserve in open class. She is bred to Utopia Shaffer's Goldrush. She is in the crate and due today January 11. Hoping for some good purebreds from this one.

Welcomed 10 (Final Judgement x Wide Awake) babies last night during the snow storm. All seem to be doing fine this morning.

Introducing Dory, she is a Wide Awake x No Huddle bred by Korb Farms. This one is a power house packed with plenty of bone and muscle. She is bred to Final Judgement from Perry Swine Genetics to help in correcting some of her structural issues. She is due on Saturday 1/4 and has been loaded in the crate. I believe this matchup will produce some pigs that will definitely turn some heads.

Last night we welcomed 10 little ones in the barn, 7 boars and 3 gilts. Pedigree is (45 x Boot). Now it’s just keeping them healthy and watching them grow.

Introducing Dolly, the first one to hit the crates.

She is a pure influenced crossbred sired by Boot (2023 Ohio State Fair champion boar) on a Modern Marvel pure hamp sow bred by Klingel show pigs. She received high praise from judges for her structure and stylish front but lacked some mass and center body. That said we bred her to 45 from Perry Swine Genetics to add center body and mass. 45 is a litter mate to Hat Trick that was housed at Premium Blend Genetics. Both have sired many champions. She is due 12/20 and we are excited to see these little ones.

Hate to let this one go but need to make room in the barn. If your looking for a quality sow that’s easy to breed and farrow and is a milking machine check this one out. She was a purchase from Keplinger Farms specifically for a breeding prospect. Not asking much just hate to ship her to market. Her pigs are always the most popular on sale day.
