UPDATE: Pip and Rob have found a new home! Thanks to all who care and share. Thank you to the lovely lady who gets to see just how precious they are :)

Pipsqueek (the Grey) & Rob (the Orange) have been together for 10 years.
They have enjoyed quite the life in diverse places including a three month winter stint in a 16’ x 16’ cabin in the Garnet mountains of Montana. Often you would find them sleeping together directly under the wood stove with its intense heat.
A year and a half in Georgia introduced them to humidity, fleas, and a bear that liked to come right up on the porch. The biting and scratching that fleas brought confused and drove them crazy until we found a solution to get rid of them.

Pipsqueek was a thrift store kitty for several years. She used to ride there on the handle bars of a bicycle in a canvas bag with her head poked out just enough to see the view. Anytime a car would pass by she would duck her head inside the bag and when she felt safe again you would see her head pop out again. In the thrift store she enjoyed being the center of attention frequently flipping over on her back and exposing her belly at the check-out counter to elicit belly rubs from customers. Her penchant for belly rubs continues to this day.
Pipsqueek and Rob are both very affectionate with their person and others. They crave attention. They also enjoy snuggling together and grooming each other. Rob is a bit more aggressive and when Pip has had enough she swats him. Fur begins to fly, they part and then they get over it. Soon you will find them all snuggly together again.
The greatest joy they have had is being with their person. No matter how many times he’s moved they have rolled with the changes and learned to be content wherever they are just to be near him. There was a time about three years ago that life threw him a curve ball and he had to give them up not knowing if he would ever be able to have them back again. They were elated when they were able to be reunited again after three months.
And now their person is making a life change that involves moving at the beginning of July to someplace where they cannot go. Not being able to have his beloved kitties may be temporary, only time will tell. Until we know for sure Pipsqueek and Rob need a loving foster family, someplace where they can live the rest of their lives together if need be. A place where their caretaker or caretakers will give them the love, attention, and affection they crave.

They are happy being indoor kitties only, but there was a time that they were able to be indoor/outdoor kitties and I am sure they would enjoy that again if the opportunity presented itself.
They have a cat tree that both enjoy for looking out the window. Rob really likes scratching on tree. Pipsqueek won’t scratch on it at all. I discovered she likes scratching on a log so she has her very own that she picked up in Georgia.

They have a morning and night food routine that they would like to keep with a special diet and brand of cat food. Their person would like to cover the cost of the food and assist with the cost of the litter.
It is not easy for me to give up my kitties. What would make this transition much easier is knowing my precious Pipsqueek and Rob had a nice loving home to go to. Might that be with you in your home? I look forward to hearing from you.

At some point in her past, this little girl had quite an accident. When we found her, half of her shoulder blade was gone and she had three BBs embedded in her. Two days ago she had surgery to remove the injured leg and (of course!) get spayed. She'll do just fine with three legs. Best of all she has a new indoor home where she'll be much safer!

Due to a recent increase in medical expenditures, Feral Cat Rescue will earmark all December 2016 donations for Veterinary fees. Thank you to all who gave this month!

From the time she was a wee kitten, Fuzzy kitty had a great barn to call home. Suddenly, after 15 years, she's been displaced. Her owner sold the 'ranch' and moved into town. The new ranch owners do not want her; they have dogs who don't get along with cats.
A kind neighbor has taken Fuzzy in, but her own barn kitties are not accepting Fuzzy in their territory. Currently, she is isolated in this kennel - safe, warm and fed, but not 'home'. If released, she'll try to run to the only home she's ever known, where she would encounter unfriendly dogs.
15 years old, she's accustomed to barn life, although she uses a litter box if needed. She's friendly, spayed, and still catches mice! She really needs a kind heart who can provide her with a new barn, or shop, to call home. If you can help her, please call Tami at 406-381-6580.

Too sweet to remain unclaimed, 'Jemma' is no longer waiting in limbo. She has a new place to call home with the wonderful lady who found her. She's warm, she's loved, and she'll receive the best of care. Thank you, Ellen

Do you recognize this kitty? Can you help us find her owner? Please share this post with anyone you know in Ravalli County. This little girl was found in Grantsdale, trying to make it outside on her own. She's estimated to be about 10 years old, and was already spayed when she was found. She's incredibly friendly and sweet.

Update on Muffin:

12/12/2015

All I Want for Christmas is a house with a person who likes to pet kitties.
Muffin is a feral cat becoming habituated to the company of people. Her previous care givers moved to an assisted living situation leaving Muffin and 2 other feral cats.
Muffin is super petite; extremely small cat. She is sweet and loves attention and affection. In fact, she would rather have pets than food. I go feed the cats. I would love to take her home but all my animal slots are currently full. It breaks my heart to leave her.
She is very tame..may not allow being picked up..but approaches people and then delights in the love. She may or may not move into a house, but can live out of doors as long as she is near people.
If you can help give Muffin a home for Christmas, please call Janice, 406-370-2312, & leave a message.
