River of Hope Labradoodles

River of Hope Labradoodles We are a family breeder that loves to spoil a new litter of puppies every year. We started out with our Yellow Labrador Retriever, Hope. They love their puppies.

She had her first litter of first generation Labradoodles back in May of 2006. She has had three more litters for a grand total of 39 puppies; most of them gold, cream or black with only one chocolate (Keiko). Her daughter Duchess has now taken over the role of mommy with her first litter of F1B (2nd generation) puppies that were born 4/3/2011. F1B is taking an F1 (1st generation labradoodle) and

breeding back to a standard poodle. F1B's are bred for their coat type, which will produce the least amount of shedding. Our puppies are raised in our home as if they were our own dogs. They have two large play pins that they can romp around in, sleep, enjoy each other and their mom. We take them on little outings to our back yard when the weather is nice to get some fresh air and start getting them use to going potty in the grass. The puppies receive their first set of shots and deworming before they are ready to go to their new homes. When you take home one of our precious puppies you will receive a photo album depicting their lives at our home with a CD of the remaining pictures (there are too many to print!) The pictures are taken weekly and on special occasions. Each puppy has a blanket that we used in their photos. This blanket will be sent home with your puppy with the scent of the mother and siblings rubbed on it. This helps the puppies during their first nights without their mom and siblings. You will also receive a folder containing: CKC and/or AKC registration for both mom and dad, Health Certifications for parent, CKC Pre-Registration puppy application, Vet Records, Puppy Weight chart and birth information of entire litter, and Care Instructions. We also provide a little gift bag with their first toy, Dog Bowl and collar to take home with you. The collars will not last long, so be prepared to replace it as they grow! Our owners are very grateful and have provided many positive updates from time to time. Following are just a few of their comments we have received:

"He is doing great! He is a very loving and smart dog"

"She is a big part of our family and we can't imagine life without her.. We love her!"

"He has one of the best temperments I have ever seen in a dog"

"Our dog is doing great. Thank you a bunch, he is a joy for us each day"

Sarah would love if you followed along in her new venture into the world of cut flowers and veggies!

I’m so excited (and a bit nervous!) to officially introduce Arching Willow Bloomstead, my new adventure into the small business world. Arching Willow has grown out of a deep dive into horticulture - specifically my absolute love for dahlias, cut flowers, and home-grown vegetables.

What started as growing a few plants for my own backyard has quickly bloomed into a true passion. Over the last couple of years, as I’ve immersed myself in the world of cut flowers, I felt a strong calling to turn this time-consuming "hobby" into something more: sharing that joy and beauty with our community.

While my primary focus will be specialty cut flowers (including peonies, dahlias and more!), I also have a deep love for seed starting and homegrown produce - which brings me to my next big step!

🌱 The Official Seedling Sale 🌱
This Friday, May 22nd, is my official seedling sale, and I would love your support as I take this big, exciting (and slightly scary πŸ˜…) step! I dipped my toes in the water with a few early starts a few weeks ago, but this Friday features a much fuller line-up of healthy, ready-to-plant offerings. (See the flyer for all the details!) I'm praying the rain holds off, but if not the sale will be moved under cover!

Even if you can’t make it out in person, sharing this post means the world to me as I launch this new chapter. Thank you so much for supporting my brand-new small business and this little bloomstead of mine. 🌸🌿

P.S. For those wondering, yes, I am still working full-time as a child life specialist! Arching Willow is my passionate side-adventure for now, and I appreciate your patience and support as I balance both worlds!

Today is a sad day for us as our sweet Duchess passed away just after 5am this morning. Duchess brought so much joy and happiness to our family over the years. And to many families through all her puppies. She was one of the best mamas to her four beautiful litters! She had such a sweet, calm presence and was so easy going and mannerly. But she never missed an opportunity to referee when the other dogs got too rowdy.

It's hard to believe we saw her take her first breath almost 15 years ago on Dec 1st. She instantly became a part of the family. As sad as we are, we're grateful she was with her family today when she passed naturally and peacefully, taking her final breath. You'll be dearly missed sweet Dutchie-dog ❀️

In loving memory of our dog Hope. We had to say good-bye to her today, Tuesday, 9/4/2018. She has brought love and joy to our lives for 14 years. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, looking back in memory of her helps us know how much joy she was to have around. What we have enjoyed, we can never lose. These pictures portray her sweet and loving nature. She will truly be missed. We love you forever Hope!

I am so excited that by this time on Thursday, October 16th, I will be enjoying my first grandchild, Aiden Jacob O'Neal. Most of you know that our house has lots of four legged animals. We are looking for someone that might be able to provide us some 'paid' help during the day while we are in Dayton. The C-Section will take place at 7:30am and we will be there much earlier than that. If you, or you know someone that can, help us, please call Lydia at 513-503-4448. Hope all of your puppies/dogs from one of our adorable litters are doing well. We would love to hear from you and/or see pictures :)

We are (somewhat) sad to announce that this will probably be our final litter. We have now had 10 litters totaling over 100 puppies! It has been an incredible journey and we have loved raising these amazing dogs for so long. It is bittersweet to think that we won't have any more bouncing puppies... but we won't miss the work we put into each litter! We know that all of our doodles have made great additions to their families and love to hear from you to see how they are doing!

For those of you that might be interested in a puppy, we still have 3 left unspoken for in our current litter. Serena, Tiana and Mulan are still looking for their new home. If you'd like to come see them send us a private message or an email ([email protected] or [email protected]).

Thank you all for making this a wonderful experience for our family and for taking care of our babies!
