🎆 Fireworks can be exciting for us, but they can be frightening for our pets.

If your pet needs anti-anxiety medication to help them stay calm during the holiday, please pick it up before the fireworks begin. Don't wait until the last minute—we want to make sure your furry family member is comfortable and safe.

Please note that our clinic will be closed on Saturday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. If your pet needs medication or a refill, be sure to contact us before the holiday.

Please help us welcome our newest team member!

Dr. Payten Doak grew up on a row crop farm in McLean, Illinois. She attended University of Missouri in Columbia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2022 and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2026.

Dr. Payten’s professional interests include small animal internal medicine, dermatology, and preventive medicine, as well as bovine production medicine, herd health, and reproduction.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Payten enjoys spending time at her family’s lake house, gardening, baking and cooking, and health and fitness. She recently relocated to Quincy with her husband, Quinn, and their Australian Shepherd, Benny, and is excited to serve her new community!

Just a reminder that the clinics will be closed on Monday, May 25th for the Memorial Day holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday at 8am with normal business hours.

Reminder we are closed tomorrow January 1st (New Years Day) but will reopen with normal hours on Friday, January 2nd. We are so thankful we were able to work with all of our great clients and their furry family members in 2025! We are excited to welcome 2026 and are excited to continue doing what we love! Happy New Year!!!!
