New Year and time for a New company logo. When we opened our doors 20 years ago (wowza), we were primarily focused on the Hunter/Jumper industry - training, rehab, boarding. But, as time went on, we evolved and after moving our facility from Illinois to Missouri, our focus became much wider on disciplines - Reiners, Horsemanship, Basic Riding Skills, Cowhorse, Games, and of course, still the Hunter/Jumper industry.

Additionally, we work with all ages of horses and riders to bring both to their full riding potential.

Our company logo did not reflect this change in our business model!

But, one thing has remained constant at My Epiphany Stables in our 20 years of business - we do say it is "Where Your Horse Really Matters" and everything we do on a daily basis reinforces this company mantra. This includes not only the horse care we give, but the fences that we build, the hay that we grow, the maintenance of grassy pastures, the premium arena footing, and the employees we have working with us.

So, thank you to Cami Bussmuss, Hoof Prints Design, for our wonderful, new, updated logo, that features the horse and what we do!

“THE DREAM THAT MANY WILL NOT UNDERSTAND:
My horses are my personal dream.
One day when I am very old and when I can not walk anymore, it will be in my heart as a trophy of my memories.

I met people who taught me something and have the same spirit and I met others that I'm glad I forgot.
I got wet,
I felt cold,
And I felt warm;
I was afraid,
I fell,
And I stood up.
I even hurt myself, I have been broken,
But also, I laughed out loud inside.
I spoke a thousand times with myself.
I sang and shouted with joy like a madman,
And yes ... sometimes I cried.

I have seen wonderful places and lived unforgettable experiences.
I climbed on horses that made me feel brave and excited...and then there were ones that terrified me......

I stopped a thousand times to see a landscape.

I spoke with perfect strangers, and I forgot people I see every day.

I went out with my demons inside and returned home with a feeling of absolute peace in my heart.

I always thought how dangerous it is, knowing that the meaning of courage is to advance even feeling fear.

Every time I go out to my horses I think about how wonderful they are.
I stopped talking about it to those who do not understand, and I learned to communicate with other riders.

I have met some amazing people I now call friends because of my horses.

I spent money that I did not have, giving up many things, but all these things are not worth even one special moment with my horse.

They are not a means of transport or a piece of iron with wheels, they are the lost part of my soul and my spirit.

And when someone says to me: "You have to sell the horses and you have to be more sensible", ... I do not answer. I just swing my head and smile.

A horse..... only the person who loves them understands it.
May God bless my friends and all their horses...
And the adventure continues...”

UPDATE: SOLD

❤️❤️ Kind, Flashy APHA 2013 Gelding ❤️❤️

Meet "Prince", a 2013 registered APHA Gelding that is looking for his next prince or princess. Prince has been lightly shown in local Ranch classes by youth rider and ridden in arenas and on trails. He is super quiet out on trails, no spook, crosses creeks/bridges, can ride alone or with a group.

He is best suited for an intermediate, confident rider and likes having a consistent riding program. Super fun horse to ride with his big stride and long trot.

Standing at 15 hands, he is big and stout, and has had a rope thrown off of him, but not consistently. Up to date on everything, full medical history available.

If this sounds and looks like your next horse, give us a call to schedule a trial ride.

Located at My Epiphany Stables in Hamilton, MO.

Our Story

My Epiphany Stables was established in 2004 in Wadsworth, Illinois. In October of 2018, the stables moved to Owner Robin Broughton’s home state of Missouri. We are a small, private barn that specializes in the rehabilitation of performance horses, the care of young, growing horses, and the special needs of those horses entering their retirement years. We are a place where a horse can just be a horse again – no performance anxiety, no big barn stress, and no expectations. Just lots of turnout, rolling in the sunshine and eating grass. If you have a horse with special needs, contact us – let us show you how we can help.
