It's dental day for 2 of our senior horses! Malibu and Jewel have been struggling to eat hay and have been on a primarily grain diet all winter. Hopefully today we can help them get back on hay and increase their weight gain!

We are starting to get our winter hay lined up. If you would like to help donate to our hay fund, we would greatly appreciate it! We feed 24/7 hay to help keep all the horses happy and healthy.

Tilly would like you to know she needs more hay! It's that time of year when we start stocking up hay for winter.

We will be having several events to help raise money for our hay fund, starting off with a Zummerfest yard sale. Sept 21st from 10-4 at the sanctuary.

We will be providing pony rides at Zummerfest as well!

We are so sad to share that our rescued Belgian mare Agnes had a stillborn this morning 😭
This poor old lady has had such a hard life.
We will be spoiling her as much as possible. If anyone is looking for a nurse mare please let us know. Or if an orphan needs rescuing we'd love to give her a chance to raise a foal.

We had a great time at Bowlingo at Shakopee Bowl and can't wait to do it again June 9th!

Baby watch is on! Agnes was down and looking like starting labor this morning. She's up again now but keeping an eye on her. She's an older mare and still a bit on the thin side so it's a bit of a dicey situation.

What do you do with a half blind horse? Take them to school, obviously! We were happy to help out the Norwood Young America FFA today. Calves, Llamas and horses oh my. Malibu and Levi had a great time greeting students.
