Snack time, but make it adorable! 🥰

Sugar gliders are omnivores and enjoy a variety of fruits, vegetables, and protein sources as part of a balanced diet. This little one was definitely excited for today’s treats! 💛

Have you ever seen a sugar glider snack this up close?

What is a splenectomy? 🐶

A splenectomy is the surgical removal of the spleen and may be recommended for conditions such as tumors, rupture, trauma, or other splenic diseases. In this video, Dr. Cerf is carefully closing the surgical site after a successful procedure.

☀️ Heat stroke can happen faster than you think and our pets can’t tell us when they’re overheating.

As temperatures rise, make sure your pets have shade, fresh water, and plenty of cool-down breaks. Never leave pets in the car, even “just for a minute.”

Knowing the signs of heat stroke could save a life. 🐾💚

What looked like a perfectly normal tooth during Saoirse’s routine dental told a very different story once we took dental x-rays. 🦷

Above the gumline, everything appeared healthy. But hidden beneath the surface was a crack that could have led to worsening pain, infection, and a much bigger problem over time.

This is why COHATs and dental radiographs are so important — pets can’t tell us when something hurts, and many painful teeth look normal to the naked eye.

Catching dental disease early means less pain, less invasive treatment, and happier pets. 💙
