Friends of Halifax County, NC Animal Control Located in Halifax, NC, HCAC has just recently opened their doors to adoption and rescue. Your help is urgently needed. EMAIL [email protected].

We are animal advocates, rescuers, transporters and networkers. Please join our effort to SUPPORT this shelter as they work to be better. This is not a place for hate, criticism or drama. RAINBOW RESCUE is a tiny rescue in a rural, high poverty area with

only a few volunteers, and most animals pulled from Animal Control are moved to larger rescues in places where there are more adoption opportunities..Rainbow Rescue may be able to help coordinate transport or temporary boarding if you can commit to a cat or dog.

Come by Halifax County Animal Control for a meet and possible match. I am a neutered Miniature Pinscher, weighing about 12 pounds, and I will have my vaccines updated before leaving.
