Hundreds of wild and exotic animals from around the world. Open-air Safari Tour busses take you along 150 acres of rolling hills to view the wildlife in their natural habitat. Safari Tour Guides give you interesting facts about the animals as they come close enough to the bus for you to touch. Tigers, lions, zebras and ostriches are a few of the many zoo exhibits you will see as you stroll along t

he park grounds. See pythons, alligators and interesting creatures in the new Reptiles & Exotics building where special educational shows are given throughout the day. And the Petting Zoo is a favorite spot for anyone that likes to pet pygmy goats and camels. Picnic facilities, concession stand and souvenirs available. Great place for company picnics, birthday parties and family get-togethers.

Sebastopol #6 really pours on the speed. ... he's moving up. ... he slides into the inside track and overtakes Sebastopol 5, 4, and 3. And He DID IT! #6 Reaches the Other Side FIRST! ....we are all so proud!

Tiny Pancake Born! Little “Biscuit” joins our ‘stack of pancakes’ - Buttersworth, Jemima, Log Cabin, and Flap Jack.

The quarter-sized hatchling was born on July 4th – a real patriotic pancake! After retrieving the egg and incubating it for nearly 6 months, the staff was thrilled to have Biscuit join the others. Pancake tortoises are critically endangered in the wilds of East Africa.
The shells of these tortoises are unusually thin, flat, and flexible, making them light-weight and able to move fast. This helps them evade predators by darting away and squeezing themselves into tight rock crevices. Biscuit's shell will flatten as it grows.

BIG Reveal!
It's a FABULOUS 16 ft. woodcarving of Lake Tobias animals! And if you're wondering about that Rhino - that's a preview of what's to come in the future!

This gorgeous wood sculpture was created by the incredibly talented Josiah Macica of Pine Ridge Carvings in New York. It took him 120 hrs. to complete.
You are the Master, Josiah!

Zookeeper Diaries: Tamandua Toys! Today our keepers used a new enrichment toy purchased from our “Giving Tree”.
Tamanduas, known as lesser anteaters, enjoy mango baby food as a treat, So, keepers put some in the shell toy and the tamandua has to use his long tongue to get it out.
A special thank you to those who purchased this item for our anteaters. We are working on posting more pictures and videos of toys gifted by our wonderful patrons as our animals are enjoying them.
Enrichment items can be purchased all season long in our souvenir shop.
