The face behind Maui Pet Sitting. I want to introduce myself to everyone new here and also reintroduce myself to everyone who has been here for a while. My name is Alexis Pleiss and I’m the proud owner of Maui Pet Sitting since its founding in 2013. I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and I have a passion for providing excellent pet care to each and every client. I was born and raised in Maui, went to Kula Elementary, St. Anthony’s from 6-9 grades, graduated from Seabury Hall, and earned a bachelor’s of science in Equine Sciences from Colorado State University in 2012. I’ve loved horses for nearly my entire life and used to compete in Dressage shows in Maui growing up. In college I was introduced to packing horses in the Colorado wilderness and absolutely fell in love with it. Meanwhile during high school and every break from college people I knew would ask me to pet sit for them, which I absolutely loved! When I moved back home in 2012 I was still working at the Haku Baldwin Center, where I grew up riding horses. Eventually I was promoted to Assistant General Manager, a title I held proudly. I was still pet sitting on the side and saw an opportunity to leave the Haku Baldwin Center in 2017 to grow my business and go full time with pet sitting. Things snowballed and soon I was busier than ever before! How exciting it was to see all my hard work pay off! Crazy to think that was 9 years ago! This past almost decade of providing pet care full time has flown by in the best way possible and I would like to say a big mahalo to all of my clients who have made this possible! In my free time I enjoy gardening, crocheting, spending time with my family, friends, and my horse Fifi 💜. Rottweiler’s have a soft spot for me. Love them so much! I have a special place in my 💜 for all of the breeds that some people are intimidated by.

This year has started off great! Cute puppies, lots of dog walks, cute sweet birds and dogs, the list goes on! Absolutely love the adventure I get to live everyday 🥰💜🐶😸🦜🐴💜🥰
