"Femmy" (aka Little Stink aka D**k D**ks aka D**kers...) is SUPER SAD.
An adopter had come into the clinic, met with her, filled out an application and was ready to take her home.... unfortunately the adopter backed out.
Femmy is sad and doesn't understand why...
Femmy came to the clinic when a nice lady took her and her mom in from the outside. We aren't sure if Femmy's mom knew she was sick or not, but it was her goal to get herself and her only kitten to safety. Femmy's mom unfortunately became very ill... the nice lady that took them in brought them into the clinic RIGHT AWAY. Femmy's mom was VERY SICK and tested positive for feline aids. Femmy didn't understand why her mom didn't feel good. Unfortunately, Femmy's mom was so sick that she was not going to pull through. The nice lady that took them in stayed with Femmy's mom until the very last minute. Afterwards, she made the decision for Femmy to go into foster care. Femmy was brave and independent! Femmy was determined to not make her mother's efforts to save them / her be in vain. Even though she was still very young, Femmy began eating on her own and growing stronger and stronger every day.
Today, Femmy is feisty, courageous and ready to take on the world (.... okay maybe not the ENTIRE world... the clinic lobby can be kind of scary and overwhelming at times). Anyway, Femmy is looking for her absolute PERFECT FUREVER home (accompanied by her fearless stuffed axolotl friend, of course)!
Femmy is f***l tested NEGATIVE, up to date on her vaccinations and has LUCKILY tested NEGATIVE for both feline leukemia AND feline aids (which took the life of her mother).
Want to meet this special little lady?!?!
Come visit her in the lobby of Cumberland Valley Veterinary Clinic TODAY!
