Meet Peanut. His owner got sick and was being fed by friends. He was living with dogs and chickens and has not socialized with other animals much so this is an adjustment for him. He is 11, and a Sable goat (maybe mix) 😊

We are going to need to build a new space for the bullied, injured and outside birds and we could really use your help! We have two new birds, a rooster that came to us from Amherst (you cannot have roosters there) and a hen that was bullied and attacked. She was living inside to recover and after could not be reintroduced. The purple is a spray to help with her wound. Please support us in fundraising for a new coop 💚

Meet Tallulah and Jethro 🦃 they came to us so they can have a space to roam around and not have to stay inside. They love to roam around and boss the sheep and goats around 😂

New dove family! They were living with a woman who is now in the hospital so we have 3 new ring neck doves. A mother, father and daughter. Can you see the ring pattern on their necks?

Roosters again
We forgot these 2 little bantams that are gorgeous, the right one dark purple is a breed from Indonesia, we had named him Tanatos, the other one not sure about the breed but doesn't have a name yet.
Both of them were bullied before in another space with other roosters so they ended up together in a new space and are now best friend, they sleep against each othet.
Makes me very happy!

Meet “Baby,” but we want to figure out a new name for him. He is a Silver pheasant, young. He was at a house where the other pheasant bullied him so that’s why they had to give him away. How beautiful!

This was Tommy sleeping a few weeks ago, you can see his little head curled up. With sadness in our hearts, we have been mourning the passing of our beloved turkey, Tommy. ❤️ Tommy came to us around 6 years ago. Tommy’s mom was at a breeder and escaped and went with a wild turkey. She had an egg, and Tommy was born! He was too difficult for the breeder, so they gave him to us, and he was 1-2 years at that time. Recently, he was molting (molting is the shed of old feathers to make way for new feathers..a bird must molt each year to get rid of old or damaged feathers) so he got very cold and he got pneumonia. Even with antibiotics he died on Thanksgiving night, which is sadly ironic if you think about. He was very sweet, Patrick really loved him.

We have one week until 🙏🏼
So meet our 4 new goats, 2 Alpines and 2 Nubians, named Frank (Zappa), (Little) Richard, Elvis and Teddy (Roosevelt). They are really skinny, so we have to feed them a lot to help them catch up! They came from someone who got divorced and gave them to a friend but it was not a long term option. We are one of the only sanctuaries still taking animals when we can and your donations make that possible 🙏🏼

It's when I look the photos that I realized that Minnie looks like an apparition from the sky or that the Angel's are coming with her...
Isn't something that sometimes things showed up without you doing anything or not much to create it.
That's what I like when something is supposed to happen it happens.
Minnie has been such a blessing in my life and heart.

Thursday was nice and sunny so it was a perfect time to have everyone in the back during the construction work they were doing on our driveway and the front where are the goats and sheep.
We had to stay in the back for 4 hours so we enjoy the sun and nap. Not much better things to do...

Yesterday was the perfect day to fill up all the swimming pools for the ducks and goose, tons of water from the sky...
So here they are enjoying their bath....

Chouquette is a very special cockatiel we have for 19 years. Not only he is one of the sweetest and loving bird but he loves babies! Since we had him he get excited by a baby ,could be a sparrow, baby chick or a bunny its the same he sings to them. This time he was in the room close to a lamb we kept for some days, here is the result: ENJOY!

Here is a little video of Pavo a meat turkey found in a cemetary in Newbury last November. A nice woman, Bay living there found her and brought to a vet in Rowley as she was in bad condition. She stayed there and recovered, then we were contacted as they dont keep animals there. We met Bay half way from Newbury and she is now enjoying her new space with 2 friends rescued last year.
