Hi Everybody, Luke Ogden here... I miss you all and your fur babies!

Erin gave me permission to reach out to you all to let you know that I’m working for Kimco Green Pest Control now. Please do not use dangerous pesticides inside and outside your home. Many pest control companies use dangerous chemicals that can cause severe illnesses and cancer to you, your family, and pets (hence the 72 hour warning signs they stick on your lawns).

Everyone at WLTDO cares about your pets and wants the best for your fur babies. If you have a pest problem of fleas, ticks, spiders, crickets, ants, mosquitos, etc... please give Kimco a call AND MAKE SURE TO REQUEST ME... I’ll personally come out to spray your home and yard. Every product we use is 100% Organic essential oils that leave your house and yard smelling wonderful and pest free. Pets can immediately go out into the yard after being sprayed (although I would wait 30 minutes for it to dry so muddy paws prints aren’t brought in the house!) 🐾 The essential oils will not harm your pets if they lick their paws clean.

Also, there are specific blends we use to target pests inside versus outside. If fleas and ticks are a huge issue (we’re in New Jersey, so we know they are)... we treat your yards with concentrated cedar oil and/or garlic oil to eradicate fleas, ticks, and virtually every other bug (except bees) from your yard. At Kimco we understand the importance of bees, so if you have a bee problem (like a hive)... we will direct you to a bee keeper to remove the hive safely so the bees can be transported to a newer and safe location.

Not many companies take pride in what they do, but just like WLTDO, the Kimco family loves what we do on a daily basis... to serve our clients with the best service and products. Trust, honesty, commitment, and a satisfaction guaranteed is what you expect... and that’s what you’ll get when you get a treatment plan for your home and yard. Don’t let Scout, Cooper, Tucker, etc come in from the yard all itchy and scratchy... let me defend your home from pests so that they can defend your home from squirrels and delivery people!

Thank you all for your time and consideration! I miss all my four legged pals and I would love to see them all very soon!

Much love,
Luke Ogden

Statistically the week surrounding July 4th has the largest number of runaway pets due to firework activity.

Do yourself and your pets a favor by following these simple tips...

1) MAKE SURE YOUR PET IS WEARING ITS ID...AND TIGHTEN ALL THEIR COLLARS AND HARNESSES TO BE SNUG. (2 finger rule...if you can slide more than 2 fingers in between the restraint and the pet...it’s too loose!)

2) Make sure all gates and doors are closed at all times. Add signs as a reminder to family, friends, delivery, and service people.

3) Tether your dog when outside. They now sell retractable lawn tethers that are built into the lawn stakes...I highly recommend them. Dogs that normally don’t jump fences will jump over them if they fear they are in danger.

4) If your pet is chipped...make sure your contact info is correct. If your pet is not chipped, it’s an excellent idea to do so.

5) Buy your pet a Thundershirt.

6) Keep your pets in safe rooms where there is a buffer from outside noise.

7) Keep visuals of flashing lights from fireworks out of sight. Pull your curtains closed and your blinds down.

😎8) Play relaxing sound tracks or easy listen music in their safe room.

9) Put on the tv to distract them from outside noise (DO NOT HAVE FIREWORKS DISPLAY ON YOUR TV!)

10) Distract pets with treats like Kong’s full of peanut butter, frozen blocks of ice with treats inside, or catnip.

11) Use a diffuser with Camomile, Jasmine, or Lavender to relax your pets.

12) Give pets calming medicine like valerian root.

13) Stay home with your pet and comfort them.

14) Cover crate with blankets so they have a dark and safe space to crawl into.

15) Make sure they get lots of exercise during the day so they are tired by fireworks time.

16) Bathrooms are great small spaces to make them feel safe. Many pets will go to the bathroom in fear...and bathrooms are way easier to cleanup. Bathtubs provide an excellent space to feel secure and if there is an accident it is extremely easy to clean up with minimal effort.

17) Don’t fire off your own fireworks! Think about your pet(s) safety along with your own. It’s hard to pet your fur babies when you don’t have fingers!
