Creation of the Sea is a family-owned and operated business that installs and maintains "turn-key" saltwater aquariums in the New York Tri-State area to fulfill the needs for art, exploration, entertainment, education, medicine, and/or therapy. We provide natural and simplistic saltwater aquarium systems for customers with limited spaces and low to medium budgets, as well as complex saltwater aqua

riums with remote life support systems for customers with ample spaces and high budgets. For our simplistic and reasonably priced saltwater aquariums, the aquariums contain self-containing, self-sustaining natural filtration systems. For our saltwater aquariums with complex life support systems, state-of-the-art aquarium filtration is either installed underneath the aquarium or in a remote location. The company also provides medicinal water, salt and mineral products derived from the sea to help enhance the health of both people and animals.

The Quoyi Parrotfish, a beautiful fish from the Pacific Ocean. This fish has all colors of the rainbow and is a magnificent piece of living art. No filter used for this post! They are great algae eaters, but best of all, they are reef safe! This Parrotfish is almost a foot long, and is living in our client’s saltwater reef aquarium.

We can provide many different kinds of decorations (or props) for an aquarium. This particular one is a full-size diving helmet that we waterproofed and setup inside one of our large custom saltwater aquariums. It is safe and nontoxic, but more importantly, it is just so cool to look at in an aquarium setting!

A planted reef aquarium is a beautiful display in any space. This aquarium features a species of green Caulerpa and red macroalgae from the Caribbean. Macroalgae is a natural filter in a saltwater tank, as it helps keep the water clear and free from harmful compounds, such as nitrates.

Here is the Dragon’s Tongue Red Macroalgae that has been growing in one of our planted saltwater reef aquariums for a few years now. What a magnificent piece of living art to have in a saltwater aquarium! Corals and fish aren’t the only beautiful specimens to have in a saltwater tank. There are many beautiful macroalgae species that you can grow in a saltwater aquarium as well, and this particular kind of algae is one of the nicest to own in the industry.
