Hands on animal training apprenticeships focusing on a selection of species: poultry, equine, bovine, feline and canine. Topics included include: understanding and the application of current learning theories, business ethics and principles, animal management and stewardship Being an active part of the business is also an integral part of the program, so living onsite is required. The Academy also

hosts outside experts who present in workshop or seminar format on a variety of topics for apprentices and the public throughout the year.

We are OK, 10 miles from the fire. No pre evacuation for us, but we’re gathering things just in case. Bandy who responds to my emails is still in pre evacuation so we are really behind on emails, but other than that we are all fine.

The dogs are all great and have no idea other than a few runny eyes. The rest of the animals are little restless when the smoke is thick, but other than that they are doing Ok as well.
