Fort Bend 4-H Happy Tails Dog Project

The Happy Tails 4-H Dog Project is a hands-on youth program in Fort Bend County where kids learn responsibility, leadership, and confidence through training and working with dogs.

Members develop real-life skills in obedience, showmanship, grooming, and teamwork—while building a strong bond with their dogs and learning how to be respectful, capable handlers both in and out of the ring.

We are open to all Fort Bend County youth ages 5–18, and no prior experience is needed—just a willingness to learn and a love for dogs!

I have a family looking to place a male 1.5 year old staghound (Greyhound type).

He is a sweet dog, just needs to be neutered and some manners, he would be best with female dogs or non dominant males since he’s intact.

He’s not with me, but can put you in touch with his folks. 😊
