π§ββοΈ Ariel Update! π
Our sweet girl went to the vet a couple weeks ago for what we hoped would be her final blood draw, and approval to come off her FIP medication. π Unfortunately, that was not the news the vet gave us.
Our vet is not 100% happy with how Ariel's eye appears. There are some raised pink parts inside the eye still. He told us if it is scar tissue, its oddly shaped π¬ and there is risk that there is something more than FIP going on with it. To be safe, we are doing an additional 30 days of FIP medication, and we'd like to have Ariel see a specialist for her eye.
Specialists aren't cheap, and we already have regular vet bills to pay, but we'd rather be SURE that Ariel has nothing to worry about going forward. There are a few things those raised bits in her eye could be, and one of them is the dreaded C word. π₯ That is not something we ever want to risk leaving alone.
To help us with the costs of Ariel's ongoing care, there are 3 ways you can donate:
π cashapp: $grandmasandy661956
π paypal: sandrarode888
Or you can donate directly to our vet bills by calling Veterinary Corner in Guthrie, and adding any amount to the account of Sandy's Sanctuary and Rescue. π
