We’ve heard you guys. ☀️🧋

Our Summer Menu is officially here!

Starting this weekend, we’ll be rolling out a brand-new lineup of drinks featuring fruit juices, lemonades, green teas, sparkling waters, coconut water refreshers, energy drinks, and the return of our infamous popping pearls.

For our milk tea lovers, we’ll be serving Brown Sugar, Ube, Taro, Strawberry, and Honeydew milk teas.

We’ll be introducing all of these new drinks over the next few days, and the full menu will be officially launched and available Saturday morning.

We’re heading into our second summer and couldn’t be more excited. Our goal was to create a menu with more variety, more customization, and more refreshing options for the Oklahoma heat. Whether you’re looking for something fruity, caffeinated, creamy, or completely unique, we’ve got something coming for you.

Adoption #72, #73, and #74!!! 🐾😍🐱

Today, KitKat and Twin found a home together, and Socks found a home of her own. KitKat and Socks had been waiting with us for about two months, while Twin surprised us all and found a family in less than a week.

If you’ve noticed we haven’t been posting many adoption updates lately, it’s because adoptions have slowed down everywhere. Right now we’re in the middle of kitten season. Unspayed cats are having litters, and many kittens are being given away through friends, family, neighbors, and Facebook groups.

We understand why people are drawn to a free kitten. But “free” often comes with expenses later. Vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, parasite treatment, and routine veterinary care can add up quickly. 💰

When you adopt through a rescue, those things are already taken care of. Cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and health-checked before going home!

Every adoption opens up space for another cat that needs a safe place to land.

Today, three cats got their happy ending, and we couldn’t be more grateful!!

🐾 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 🐾

Want to help cats in need and make a real impact in your community?

We are currently looking for volunteers through Happy Hounds Animal Rescue, the nonprofit organization that cares for and places the cats you see at Meow & Mocha Cat Café. While many volunteer opportunities take place at the café, all volunteer work is done on behalf of the rescue, not the café itself.

Volunteer duties may include:
🐱 Cleaning litter boxes
🐱 Sanitizing cat spaces
🐱 Feeding cats
🐱 Cleaning cat trees and enrichment items
🐱 General cleaning and organization

The best part? We have volunteer availability every day of the week and at almost any time of day. Whether you can help for an hour, a few hours, mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, or weekends, we’d love to have you.

Minimum age is 15 years old.

Send us a message on Facebook Messenger to get started and let us know what days and times work best for you. Every volunteer hour helps us provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for cats waiting for their forever homes. ❤️🐾

“Cat cafés are cruel.” The alternative for many of these cats isn’t lounging on cat trees, getting treats, and meeting potential adopters every day. The alternative is often sitting in a kennel, bouncing between foster homes, or surviving outside where they’re exposed to cars, disease, predators, extreme weather, and an uncertain next meal.Our cats are foster cats from a nonprofit rescue. They live in over 1,700 square feet of open space, aren’t kenneled at night, receive daily care, and get the opportunity to show adopters who they really are. Instead of being passed by because they’re scared in a cage, people get to meet them in a relaxed environment where their personalities can shine.The goal isn’t to keep cats here forever. The goal is to give them a safe place to land while they wait for the family that’s meant for them.

We know you guys love seeing the cats, but today we wanted to talk a little bit about what goes into our drinks ☕️

Being here for the last year, we have learned a lot about quality, consistency, and control. Every single day we are learning, improving, and figuring out how to create a better experience for you guys while still keeping our drinks affordable and high quality.

When we first opened, we honestly did not know much about coffee syrups, sauces, espresso, or ingredients. Over the last year, we have spent a lot of time testing products, changing products, and finding things that you guys love! 💕

A few of the products we currently use here at Meow & Mocha Cat Café:

🐱 Califia oat milk & almond milk
🐱 Barista 22 syrups for the majority of our coffee flavors
🐱Ghirardelli caramel, chocolate, & white chocolate sauces
🐱Fresh espresso beans from Leap Coffee Roasters in Edmond/North OKC

We grind our espresso fresh for every single order.

Our lattes start around $4 and go up to around $6, and with the rising cost of goods, we still want to provide a good coffee shop experience with quality ingredients, quality flavors, and prices that feel reasonable.

We just wanted to be transparent about what we use and where your money is going when you support our small business 🤍
