Thanks to Dr. Harney, it’s official… Gertrude has quite a few buns in the oven! 🐾

Apparently Rip and Gertrude took their summer romance VERY seriously.

We’re expecting our newest litter of Giant Schnauzer babies around September 8th! 🖤 We are so excited to meet these little nuggets and see just how many she’s been hiding in there.

Ever heard of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy? PRP is a form of regenerative medicine that has been proposed to treat inflammatory conditions that affect ligaments, muscles, and tendons, or joint issues. It may also help with bone regeneration after a bone fracture!

How it works: A sample of blood is taken from a patient and then spun down in a centrifuge. The red blood cells are removed and the leftover concentrate is called PRP, which contains platelets and proteins that can then be used to promote healing and treat areas of inflammation in the body.

Side effects are minimal since PRP therapy requires using a patient's own blood.

Who doesn’t love a success story?! These are before and after videos of a Harney Vet Services patient. The after video is about one hour after receiving medication for Myasthenia gravis, a disease where there is a malfunction in the transmission of signals between the nerves and muscles.

We are so thankful that Winston is feeling better!
