World Environment Day
Did you know? Alligators are apex predators and keystone species that play a crucial role in maintaining the health of aquatic ecosystems. Found primarily in freshwater wetlands such as marshes and swamps, they help regulate populations of other animals and create habitats for various species through their activities. For instance, their "gator holes" provide refuge and water for creatures during dry periods. To find out more interesting facts about these amazing animals, schedule your appointment today, www.crocodilecreektexas.com.

Presidents Day Fun Fact:

Did you know that our 6th President John Quincy Adams was gifted an alligator from the Marquis de Lafayette? So what did he do with it, he kept in the bathtub in the East Room, of course. It is said that if he was not fond of a guest he would suggest they use that bathroom. The fun only lasted for a few months.

Also Benjamin Harrison owned two alligators who lived in the White House conservatory.

Happy President Day
