📢 **Thanksgiving Closure Announcement**

Northwood Hills Animal Hospital will be closing on Wednesday, November 26th at 5pm and reopen at 7:30am on Friday, November 28th in honor of Thanksgiving. 🦃🍁

We sincerely hope all of our clients and patients enjoy a wonderful day surrounded by family, friends, and plenty of good food. As we celebrate this season of gratitude, we encourage everyone to carry that spirit throughout the entire year.

Here at NHAH, we are incredibly thankful for our amazing clients, patients, and community. Y’all keep us going and continually remind us why we do what we do. We truly couldn’t imagine any other career—helping your pets brings joy to our hearts every single day.

*This morning, one of our amazing technicians arrived at the clinic to find a box and a note left at our door. Inside were two kittens… and only one little survivor, as we couldn’t find the other.*

We want our community to know that this sweet baby is receiving the care they deserve. Our team immediately stepped in—as we always do. Dr. Wigley is personally covering the cost of medications, and our technician has taken the kitten home for the weekend to provide round-the-clock treatment. We take an oath to provide ethical and humane care to every animal in need, and we will always honor that commitment.

But moments like this are absolutely heartbreaking. They are also preventable.

**This is why spaying and neutering your pets is so incredibly important.**
Not only does it protect your pets from preventable illnesses and complications, but it is one of the most effective ways to reduce the overwhelming number of stray and abandoned animals in our community. Shelters are full. Rescue groups are stretched thin. And situations like this morning’s happen far too often.

Please—**think before you act, and help us prevent needless suffering. Spay and neuter your pets.**
Together, we can make a real difference. ❤️🐾

Also, understand that our hospital is not a rescue or a shelter. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds or the time to be able to do this on a regular basis.
