Arizona, here she comes! 🌵☀️🐾

This sweet girl came in for her first round of puppy vaccines AND her health certificate before heading off to her new home in Arizona! 🐶✈️🧡 What an exciting adventure for such a little pup!

This handsome white fluff stopped by for a nail trim, but obviously a few extra scratches and some love were part of the appointment too. 🥰🐾

Our hearts are absolutely broken. 💔🌈🐾

Our beautiful, sweet Roxie lost her battle with heartworm disease and crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She came to us already fighting heartworms, and from the moment she walked through our doors, she became part of our family. 🧡

We loved on this girl every single moment we were lucky enough to have her in the clinic. She was more than a patient to us. 🥺🐶❤️

Roxie's story is also one we desperately want other families to learn from. Heartworm prevention matters. Every month. Every year. 🦟❤️‍🩹 Heartworm disease is transmitted by mosquitoes, and here in Southeast Texas, our pets are at risk year round. Once a dog becomes infected, treatment can be difficult, lengthy, and sadly, even with care, not every story has the ending we hope for.

Some familiar faces make boarding feel a little more like a family reunion. 🥹🩵🐾

Meet Mojo & Moka! These sweet siblings have been longtime NVC patients, and we recently had the privilege of having them stay with us for boarding. 💙

We love getting that extra time with patients we’ve watched and cared for over the years—and these two are always an absolute joy to have around!

From Spice to Ronald… and from the streets to a forever home. 🥹🩵🐱

This tiny guy came to us through Beaumont Animal Care at just 2 pounds as part of an ear tip and release program. But somewhere along the way, he stole our hearts, and we just couldn’t send him back to life on the streets.

So we kept him safe while we searched for the perfect home—and found it! 🏡💙 Spice is now Ronald, living his best life with his new family and his sibling, Chris.

These are the updates that make our whole day. We LOVE a happy ending! 🐾❤️

This happy girl has been one of our regulars for years, and we ALWAYS love seeing her for her monthly medicated bath! Her baths are an important part of helping manage her allergies and keep that skin feeling its best. 🐾✨

And judging by that smile… we think she enjoys her spa days with us just as much as we enjoy having her! 🥰

🎈🐾 Okay, but hear us out… WHO thinks NVC needs its own custom hot air balloon?! 😂🧡💙

After seeing all those incredible balloons at the Bridge City Balloon Festival, we couldn’t help but start imagining it…

A giant NVC balloon floating over Southeast Texas, complete with paws, hearts, and maybe a few dogs and cats peeking over the basket?! 🐶🐱🎈✨ We’re just saying… it would be pretty hard to miss us. 😂

We love getting out into the community and seeing all the creativity that makes Southeast Texas such a fun place to call home. 🧡🐾

We were so honored to participate and volunteer at the Groves Back to School Bash! 📚🎒🧡✨

There’s something incredibly special about watching a community come together for the next generation. From the volunteers who gave their time to the families and businesses who donated supplies, Groves showed up in a BIG way. 💙🙌

A huge shoutout to everyone who rallied behind the needs of our local students and helped make sure they could head into a new school year feeling prepared, supported, and confident. ✏️📓🍎
