These beautiful girls landed at Dog City this morning, not only are they stunning but they are as sweet as can be โค๏ธ. The English Cream marked #4 is transferring to D's Dogs and is currently in transport heading to them BUT the remaining 3 girls are ๐Ÿ‘€ for fosters!

(Facebook is also experiencing some outages today so we're really banking on shares/likes to get these kids seen and onto a comfy ๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ).

๐Ÿ—ž๏ธ These Cuties Have Some Big News ๐Ÿ—ž๏ธ

Harmony and Chance came to us about 6 weeks ago and we knew from the moment we met them that they had really great qualities about them. Both Harmony and Chance had calm and sweet dispositions right from the start ๐Ÿฅฐ

They spent the bulk of their time in "our care" in the P.E.T.S. Program at the Allen Oakwood Correctional Facility. We knew that they were looking for a couple of kids to send through their training that could hopefully fill a pivotal role.

Harmony and Chance completed their vetting with us on Monday which means today they are heading back to the Correctional Facility to officially join their Therapy Dog Program ๐ŸŽ‰

We love nothing more than being able to give back to programs like the one at Allen Oakwood. Everyone involved in their dog programs are phenomenal, it's safe to say that these two kids and their handlers are about to change lives for the better.

Happy Tails Harmony and Chance, you both are about to do amazing things โค๏ธ๐Ÿพ

๐Ÿพ 17 New Kids ๐Ÿพ

Holy smokes it's a busy week & we're not even close to being done! We've got two transports running tomorrow plus a couple more kids set to join us on Friday morning ๐Ÿ’•

For now we've got to get these kids back to Dog City so they can be sorted for the next leg of their journey in the morning. Please note: a good chunk of these kids will be transferring to other organizations amd we will list underneath their ๐Ÿ“ธ who is transferring/to where, who is staying within JAR, and which kids out of those that still need a foster.

Because we had kids join us today and the fact that we have a few more coming later this week we are in need of FOSTERSโ€ผ๏ธ

๐Ÿพ Seven New Kids ๐Ÿพ

While it may not be a large group of kids joining us this week we still think they're all special and deserving of our love. If you know anything about us it's that we have a really hard time turning away the kids with special needs, the little baby marked #5 needs further evaluation before she can possibly make her way to foster.

Nearly every week we get new kids in which means we are always in need of new fosters. If you have a comfy ๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ and a โค๏ธ open to helping, please reach out! Fostering is a great way to get involved and you just might find your new family member in the process.

๐Ÿพ Available for Adoption ๐Ÿพ

These cuties are ๐Ÿ‘€ for their forever ๐Ÿ

These kids all deserve a place to call home, Ozzy and Maddie especially. They're both amazing kids who both deserve more than what we can give them here, they need a family of their own.

Not in a place to adopt but you'd still like to helpโ“

The best way to help these kids find a home to call their own is by sharing this post! The more views they get the more likely it is that their forever families will see them. That one click on your ๐Ÿ“ฑ can change a life.

Important โ„น๏ธ

* While we DO adopt all over the US and parts of Canada, all meet and greets must take place in person at the rescue (Grover Hill, Ohio ๐Ÿ“)

* Completing an application is the first step in the adoption process. You must have an approved application for that specific dog in order to secure a meet & greet. The ๐Ÿ”— to the Adoption Application can be found in the description underneath each kid's ๐Ÿ“ธ

* Adoption Fee's are located at the ๐Ÿ” of the application

* All kids are UTD on parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, kennel cough and rabies vaccines, spayed/neutered, 4dx tested if over 1 year of age, de-wormed, UTD on flee, tick, internal parasite and heartworm prevention prior to adoption. The kids are also sent home with one month of prevention.

๐Ÿพ Chuck Update ๐Ÿพ

This frumpy looking little lady has been with us almost two weeks now. There have been some ups and downs but I do think she's heading in the right direction ๐Ÿ™

The biggest issue has been getting Chuck calories in a safe manner, with her cleft palete as large as it is food and water consumption is a real challenge. The only way she can eat is by being hand fed to ensure food does not lodge in the opening of her palate and to prevent her from aspirating. Her previous owners stated that she struggled with chronic URIs because of this. To be able to feed her safely we're having to hand make her food into little meat balls she can swallow without having to chew (it's a whole production in itself).

Hand feeding is definitely a new concept for Chuck so it's been quite the learning curve but I will say she is finally understanding the whole process and she's finally excited to eat, this is a well welcomed sight. She's also gaining some much needed weight and her coat is starting to look a lot better โค๏ธ

Chuck quite frankly has a lot going on medically. She has hydrocephalus, a deformity in her front leg (just like Henry) and of course her huge cleft. On Monday she's set to see the vet on Monday so we can come up with a long term game plan for her, what that will look like remains to be seen. As long as Chuck is happy and doing well we'll do whatever we can to keep her that way.

Cases like Chuck are extremely difficult. While she may be the cutest squish face ever...finding a ๐Ÿ  for kids like her that will have major ongoing medical needs is not an easy task. It's not just finding someone willing to take on that financial responsibility that will come with her but also finding someone willing to put in the extra work and time to manage her issues but mostly importantly someone responsible enough to handle it all.

๐Ÿ˜ž Sadly Chuck may end up being in a long term/possibly permanent foster situation just to ensure her needs are met, she has a long road of her either way.

Currently we have multiple kids sitting in permanent foster homes simply because their medical needs are not something most people would be willing to take on. Even if a kid never reaches a point of being adoptable we fully believe they still deserve a life full of love, I'm going to name names but... Cough looking at you Henry... Cough Clark ๐Ÿ˜‚

Male & Female Standard Poodles
*Both are blind not a bonded pair*
Two years old

They are incredibly sweet, affectionate dogs who just want someone to love them. Both have been spayed/neutered and are fully up to date on vaccines.

These two will need a patient, slow introduction into their new environment, as they are blind. We believe they may still see shadows, but they rely heavily on routine, scent, and sound. With time and consistency, they will thrive

If youโ€™re interested or would like more information, please message me. Serious inquiries only. ๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿฉ

Male Great Dane
2 years old

Big goofy guy who loves his people so much so that he does have separation anxiety when he is alone but it can be managed. He does well in the house and is potty trained. Danes may be big but they love wholeheartedly โค๏ธ

This big guy prefers to be the only male dog in the home, he gets along great with the female dogs in his current home but he and the other males do not see eye to eye. He is UTD on vaccines and is neutered.

If you are interested in meeting this beautiful boy please call or text 419-519-0571

** None of these kids are located at the rescue, if you are interested in meeting one of them please contact the numbers listed โ˜๏ธ**

๐Ÿพ We had 10 little cuties join us ๐Ÿพ

These little puff balls are not going to stay little long. These kiddos are 8 week old Great Pyrenees puppies which means they are going to grow like weeds!

Tomorrow one of our transporters is running five of these kiddos to Humane Fort Wayne while another one of our amazing volunteers is transporting three to D's Dogs in Warren Ohio (thank you Gailboe Burns ๐Ÿ™). Only two of these kiddos will be staying within JAR-Justice Animal Rescue.

The two kiddos staying with us are heading to Pampered Paws Salon Grooming and Boarding so they can get all fresh and clean, they'll be ready to head to foster later this week.

Speaking of foster, we are currently ๐Ÿ‘€ for a foster for the little female that is staying in our care, if you have room on your ๐Ÿ›‹๏ธ for a little girl please feel free to reach out!

For anyone interested in fostering we have some information listed ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿพ Meet Charlie & Her Angels ๐Ÿพ

Charlie came to us a couple weeks ago, when she first arrived we initially thought maybe she was just hefty as most of the berners we pick up from her location ๐Ÿ“are rather round. It really wasn't anything too unusual.

After about a week of being with us her belly continued to grow and rather quickly which immediately raised a ๐Ÿšฉ

Being hefty is one thing but getting even more round is not. Charlie headed off to get an ultrasound as we needed to know if she was pregnant or if she was experiencing a pyometra.... sure enough she was pregnant ๐Ÿซ

Some of you may be asking why not do a spay abortโ“๏ธ

Charlie was way too far into her pregnancy to consider this as a viable option, we are not against spay abortions but we do believe there is a line where it is ethical to have one done and when it's not. In this situation a spay abortion would have been inhumane, Charlie was at the tail end of her pregnancy. We only had one option which was wait for the little Angels to arrive.

Arrive they did, Charlie had a HUGE litter. She welcomed 12 precious babies into the world but tragically we did lose 3 rather quickly.
(When a litter is this big sadly this can happen). One was a rainbow baby and two were too weak and too small, even with intervention it just wasn't enough ๐Ÿ˜ž

So far Charlie is being a really good Momma to her little Angels. Even though she's stuck on Mom Duty she's still finding time to be happy. Charlie is really starting to come into herself, her amazing fosters said she's learning how to let loose and play โค๏ธ

The nine remaining puppies are healthy and thriving ๐Ÿฅฐ, they are about to turn 2 weeks old and they are growing like weeds. (Pics are from when they were a couple of days old).

Important โ„น๏ธ:

Charlie nor her Angels are accepting applications at this time. When the puppies reach 9/10 weeks old (after they have been spay/neutered) only THEN can you apply. Our focus will always be getting to know the puppies before attempting to make arrangements for their forever ๐Ÿก, they also need aquate time with their Mom and Siblings which why we do not adopt puppies out at 8 weeks old.

** We suspect the puppies are Bernedoodles but we will know more once we receive their DNA results **
