🐾 Hey Folks 👋 🐾

Can you take a moment to help Stanley and Penny out?

These two cuties were found as strays, luckily for them the Paulding County Dog Kennel took them both in

Even though the Dog Warden does an amazing job keeping the kids in his care happy, these two would really like to have a place to call 🏡

Both Stanley and Penny play great together and both appear to be happy and sweet.

If you head to the Paulding Kennel's page for additional information, 📸 and videos of these two cuties playing together ❤️

If you're interested in meeting Stanley or Penny, please feel free to ☎️ the Paulding County Dog Kennel or send them a DM on Facebook to set up an appointment

* Stanley and Penny are not located at the rescue as this is a courtesy post *

🙏 PLEASE SHARE

The reality is, the longer a kiddo sits in a kennel the longer they hold up the line for the next kid to be able to come in. By adopting Stanley or Penny you're not only saving one life but you're also freeing up space for the next kid to get their chance at a new life

🐾 Better Late Than Never 🐾

Absolutely NOTHING went to plan this week 🫠

Between the van issues setting us back 2k in debt and transport having to be broken into two extremely long days for our volunteers, there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.

Happy Paws Haven Co. And Humane Fort Wayne have kindly stepped in to help assist us in placing some of the 18 kiddos who joined us this week

Now that there is a game plan in place the second round of work begins for everyone. Today there is going to be a lot shuffling and transporting dogs going on behind the scenes for everyone involved

🙏 PLEASE if you are interested in one of the kids who is transferring this week/heading to foster or whatever the case maybe, be patient

There is a lot of moving parts going on to make this all possible, weeks like these are already stressful enough has is

Please keep in mind that none of the kids shown are available for adoption yet as they all still need to be fully vetted

If you are interested in learning more about how you can be a foster please feel free to DM us, one of us would be happy to send you further ℹ️

*FOSTERS MUST BE WITHIN/CLOSE TO 60 MILES FROM GROVER HILL OHIO 📍

Ps... Steven still hasn't been able to get his nuggies 😢

🐾 It's Wednesday 🐾

You're probably wondering where the 📸 of all the new kids are...

We had van issues this week. Our brake calipers seized which resulted in us having to take it to the closest shop. Our hopes were to get back on the road to be able to finish our trip.

Things did end up taking longer than expected.

While I waited with the van one of our amazing volunteers headed down to go greet our newcomers. So far 6 kids have landed at Dog City and tomorrow more kids are set to join us.

Once everyone has arrived we will post all of their beautiful faces and list who will be going where. We're calling in reinforcements this week to help get everyone settled into a place to land.

Stay Tuned!

I don't normally do this but I'm DONE 🤷‍♂️

Every week we have people popping into our messenger acting a fool, people calling us all hours of the day/night who proceed to be aggressive because we tell them we need information on an animal before we can agree to take it.

To be quite frank I'm tired of it.

In light of being completely over it please enjoy this segment we are formally calling "Don't be a Mack"

If you need assistance with something be patient and be clear about what you need help with because I can promise you not a single one of us have time to play twenty questions to try to figure out what it is someone wants. 99 percent of the questions we find ourselves answering hundreds of times over during the week can be answered by simply READING THE WHOLE POST.

If you message us give us time to respond because guess what⁉️... we're probably busy working with the animals!

Important ℹ️

If you come here aggressive be prepared to be told that you're banned from adopting. If you can't treat us with respect then you surely cannot expect us to trust you with one of our kids

Ps i swear the screenshots are in the correct order 🫠

Need to put your gardens to bed for winter ⁉️

Gilly said she can help!

We have free horse/donkey 💩 by the bag

Why do we bag it? Well... because if people do not take it we throw it away

Gilly said recycling ♻️ is pretty cool, want to help make waste into something productive?

If you're 👀 for some home grown Gilly fertilizer please feel to DM us!

Pick up only!

🐾 Just a heads up from Red ☎️🐾

Our phone line is still down. I'm not entirely sure what the issue is but I'll be heading to get the phone hopefully sorted this afternoon.

Until then, all calls and texted are being directed to Red.

Red can't read so... maybe message us over Facebook instead ;)

PS it has been kind of peaceful without the phone ringing off the hook.

PSS the foster line is still up and running smoothly for fosters that may need anything!

No New Kids Today 🤦

Well today is a huge bust, I've been experiencing cellphone issues all morning. Currently I have no GPS to be able to navigate my route so I had to make the decision to turn around before we ended up becoming lost. Without Wi-Fi I can't even get a phone call out.

Let me tell you, Steven took the news pretty hard. No nuggies... No new friends 😞

Next week is about to be a busy one

🐾 Only Two New Kids This Week 🐾

These two beautiful girls are going to be heading to the PETS Program at the Allen Oakwood Correctional Facility ❤️

Both girls are already incredibly loving and sweet and they seem to be very easy going. With the help of the PETS Program they are going to be some really amazing companions once they do their 6 weeks of training.

Even though these girls have a place to land, we always keep and 👀 out for new fosters as new kids join us nearly every week!

Interested in learning more about fostering❓

You supply the love, we supply the medical care. Essentially you'd be giving one of these kids a safe place to hangout while they wait to complete their vetting & new 🏠

FOSTERS ARE ALWAYS FIRST IN LINE TO ADOPT!

Requirement ℹ️

* While we do adopt to all over the US & parts of Canada, FOSTERS must live within/close to 60 minutes from Grover Hill, Ohio 📍

* All animals already established in the 🏠 must be UTD on medical in order to foster

* Animals in foster must be housed indoors

If you would like an application OR if you would like more information on what fostering is like please feel free to DM us. One of us would be happy to walk you through the process! :)

Not a place to Foster? You can still make a huge difference by giving this post a share
