We are thrilled to announce that Whispering Pines Veterinary Services – Greenville is now offering TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery!

To bring this advanced orthopedic service to our community, Dr. Miller and our lead technician Aaron recently traveled to Colorado State University, one of the leading veterinary teaching hospitals in the country, to receive specialized training in this cutting-edge procedure.

TPLO surgery is considered the gold standard treatment for cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injuries in dogs—the canine equivalent of an ACL tear in people. This innovative procedure stabilizes the knee joint, reduces pain, and helps dogs return to comfortable movement and an active lifestyle.

For many dogs, TPLO means:

✔️ Improved long-term mobility
✔️ A return to running, playing, and enjoying life again

This week (and every week), we want to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to our incredible team at Whispering Pines Veterinary.

Our techs and receptionists are the heartbeat of our clinic — the ones who comfort nervous pets, assist in surgeries, take X-rays, run lab work, monitor anesthesia, place IV catheters, clean up endless messes, and still find time to offer a reassuring smile to every client who walks through our doors.

They wear many hats — nurse, lab technician, radiologist, anesthetist, dental hygienist, phlebotomist, counselor, and teacher — often all in the same day. Their knowledge, skill, and compassion are what keep our patients safe and our clinic running smoothly.
