The best sound in a group class full of reactive dogs? ✨Silence✨

Every dog in this morning’s Nature & Nurture class either is currently labeled, or has acted, reactive to people & dogs. Yet today, they worked calmly around one another, choosing focus over frustration. That’s the power of intentional training and a safe environment to learn.

I couldn’t be prouder of these teams and the work they’ve put in. Progress like this doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because they show up for successful practice.

🥹Guess who’s back from surgery thanks to all of YOU!!!! Together with Wagging with Wisdom we raised $875 of our $1000 goal for her to get everything she needs.

Jessica is back at her foster home, safe and sound after her spay and gastropexy surgeries today. ❤️‍🩹

Thank you again to all of our generous donors. Two winners for the raffle drawing will be chosen as soon as our $1000 goal is met or 10a this Saturday morning!

We have a NEW DAY SCHOOL STUDENT this week! 🤩

Everyone give a warm welcome to Kuma! 💙

Kuma is a recent Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue alumni who along with his littermates, had a difficult start in life. Over the last few months, he’s settled beautifully into his new home thanks to a dedicated family, consistent tutoring lessons, and the opportunity to grow into the incredible dog he was always capable of being. 🥹❤️

After showing off his amazing social skills and continued progress, Kuma has officially earned himself a spot in Day School! 🎓🐾

Kuma is a reminder that with clear leadership, mutual trust, and the space to learn and grow, dogs can truly thrive. We can’t wait to see all that he accomplishes in this next chapter! ✨

Each class is designed to help dogs build the skills needed to navigate everyday life alongside you with confidence as you'd always imagined, while receiving hands-on coaching in real time.

🎓Summer School 101 - Sundays
newer clients/training teams, dogs that need help building neutrality around people, dogs, and distractions, or anyone looking for a slower-paced environment focused more on engagement, confidence, boundaries, and public manners rather than proofing.

🎓 Summer School 201 - Sundays
teams with a confident foundation in their training, who are ready to challenge themselves in more distracting environments and put their obedience and life skills to work through real-world practice and advanced applications.

Whether you're just beginning your training journey or looking to take your dog's skills to the next level, Summer School classes offer a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and explore, WHERE it matters the most.

The first class will start as soon as a class has 4-6 students, class emails will be sent regularly regarding status. Class #1 will be held at Washington Park in Groton!
