Took Firefly, Ahsoka, Luffy and Primrose to the river for some fun 💦🐾☀️

Side note: Luffy is in heat currently. If we breed her on her next cycle that will put us in February/March. Just waiting to get her hips and elbows OFA’d before we make any decisions. Took Luffy & Prim to meet up with Luna at the park last weekend and forgot to post! Luffy was able to convince every person that she showed her frisbee to to throw it for her. And it was a lot of people 😂 She was a happy dog 🐶🐾

Benedict Camp Trip Spring 2025

You can imagine how many tries it took to get them all looking at the camera. Always had to be one of them not fully cooperating and Firefly’s cheesy grin was killing me 🤣 Got some good ones of them individually at least.

Working on editing our camping photos. I got updates on the whole crew. Although only Kyroh and Luffy have been groomed recently so the rest look pretty rugged but I didn’t want to miss an opportunity. I couldn’t resist sharing this little sneak peak of a candid moment I caught between Kyroh and Azula 🥰

**EDIT** Thank you everyone who has expressed interest in Ember! We have found her new home ❤️ I apolagize for not getting back to everyone yet. We had been camping this past weekend and now busy geting back to work but I will respond to everyone who reached out as I have time.

Due to no fault of her own but instead some very unfortunate life circumstances, Ember (FireflyxCisco potato litter) has been returned to us. We have had her for several weeks now and we are ready to start accepting applications for her. I do have a couple families that are eager to meet her this next week but I want to extend to others that she is available so that we don’t limit her. I want to find the very best fit for her and for this to be her forever home.

About Ember: She is 6 months old, almost 7 months now. She’s itty bitty at just shy of 14lbs and I don’t expect her to get much bigger than that. She’s got her tail as you can see and she wags it almost constantly. She’s the happiest, sweetest little girl who loves to play play play and when shes tired out she wants to be snuggled up next to you on the couch. She does get spooked by strangers and other dogs sometimes while out walking but I have been working on building her confidence in these situations and teaching her “leave it” (ignore it). She is almost fully potty trained. With consistency she will have it soon. And she is kennel trained and will sleep in there at night and will stay in there if you have to leave her unoccupied for any period of time. She is up to date on all of her vaccines. She was raised with a toddler and another dog so she does great with both. She meshes right in with our pack and is very respectful of our kitty too.

Took Luffy and Rocket to the Yakima Valley Kennel Club show this weekend! Our first time competing in the breed specialty! Luffy did mostly great but definitely fought me a little bit in the ring 😂 It was a fun weekend and now we’re all tuckered out 🫠

We’ve had a visitor the last few days 😊

Ember (Small Fry from FireflyxCisco’s Potatoes) is staying with us while her family is out of town. The girls have loved having her back and she hasn’t skipped a beat ❤️

“Mommy” Soka with baby Prim. Ahsoka is very much a caretaker in our pack. She loves to groom everyone during downtime and she loves to take care of the puppies and guide and teach them. She’s never had a litter or been bred. Just very sweet and maternal ❤️ She does love to clean everyone’s ears though which I’m trying to deter her of so they don’t all end up with ear infections 🤦🏼‍♀️ I know a lot of people were worried about Ahsoka but she is thankfully back to her 100% self and feeling better 🥰

Little Cisco is off in Texas visiting our capable handler Ashley Elizabeth Miller. In two weekends, under her lead, Cisco won three Best of Breeds and two Selects! This (pending AKC approval) completes his AKC GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! Thanks to all of the judges who have recognized him and to the breeders who shared their bloodlines to allow this cute little spark of energy into our lives! He will be coming back to Alabama soon to continue his flyball and scentwork careers.
