This pretty little girl is named SAMI JO !!! Her dad was an Australian Shepherd crossed with a Border Collie and the mom was a mixed breed mama. Sami Jo and her siblings will be going in for their shots and wellness checkup on Friday and then they will be available for adoption. Sami Jo loves to be with children and just love it when kids stop down to play with them!! They get so excited to see anybody and love to have you talk to them, hold them, and give them tummy rubs !! They are good with the bigger dog that is here and so far they have been very good with the rescue cats as well. They have all been eating Science Diet Puppy food and are really doing well. They love toys and especially LOVE PLAYING IN WATER !!! If you are interested in Sami Jo or her brothers, please read up on their breeds as they are usually working dogs, so they must have an active life style as well as an active family to keep them busy !! They are very mild mannered and very lovable too !! If you would like to fill out an adoption application it is found on Rescues Unlimited's website. This adorable little guy's name is SILO !! His dad was an Australian Shepherd crossed with a Border Collie and his mom was a mix breed. This litter is so playful and love to be around other dogs, children, and even cats. They get so excited when kids come down to play with them !! I think they get even more excited to play in WATER !!! They love to be held and to get as much attention as they can get. They will be getting their shots and wellness checkup on Friday and will be ready for adoption then. Remember to check into their breeds as they are usually working dogs so if not on a farm, they need to have lots of room to run and exercise and be with a very active family !! This cute little male puppy is named SABO !! HE is 10 weeks old and his dad was a Australian Shepherd cross Border Collie and his mother was a mix breed. He is the biggest male puppy and has more fluffy fur than the other pups do. He loves people and playing in the water !! He loves to be held and when the kids come down to play with them !! AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OR FOSTER CARE !! This handsome guy is named BUDDY. His previous owner will be going into an assisted living facility and can no longer care for Buddy or his fur roommate Ryder who is a 12 year old small neutered male dog. He told us that Buddy is a Corgi mix male. I am not sure what the mix would be, as Buddy is a medium size pup and seems more like a collie mix. Whatever he is, he is a super sweet boy who is 8 months old and still has plenty of puppy energy. He loves having your attention and spending as much time with you as he can !! He does walk well on a leash and maybe with more room where he can run as he pleases, he would not have as much built up energy. He gets so excited when he greets you that he still tends to jump up and hug you. He is a lot calmer after his walk or run in the field. He had been living in an apartment so he looks forward to his play time, and we would love to find him a country home for him to run as he pleases or be with a very active individual who has lots of quality time to spend with him. We were also told that Buddy is house trained as well. We will see how he does with the rescue cats as well as the new puppies in the rescue. Buddy just loves to lick them through the fence and seems like he would just love to play with them. Just want to remind people that our little Caramel puppy is still AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION !! I will change the picture out when I get a current picture of her, but she still is fairly small even now. We are told she is a German Shepherd mix, but it seems like she just got the coloring of that mix. She is only about 25 pounds yet and she is super smart !! She is a good listener and learns very fast. She is good with kids, cats, and loves playing with other dogs. She loves car rides and going swimming in the Missouri River. She really loves to play fetch with any child who wants to throw her the ball. SID has been adopted !! This cute little guy could not have asked for a better home and new family !! He gets so much love and attention and that is just what this sweet boy deserves !! First of all we want to thank his original owner who loved this litter of puppies and drove them an hour and a half down to give them to our rescue to help them find a loving home for all of them as cared about them so much !! We also want to thank Ray and Anita Pepin who drove down to Rescues Unlimited in Gregory, SD from Belle Fourche, SD to meet Sid and then adopt him into their home !! What a loving, calm, and peaceful home for this adorable little pup !! Thank you to all of you who helped in giving this puppy and his litter wonderful homes !! Miss you little Sid Boy, but I am so happy for you too !!!

I am calling him RIO just for his posts and paperwork. WE CAN OFFICIALLY POST HIM FOR ADOPTION NOW !! Here is a great update from his foster parents who have him out on an acreage and in their home right now. They have been working on walking on a leash. He sticks around their yard now and does not wonder off. He just wants to be with people and tries very hard to please you. He sticks very close to you most times which can be hard if you are trying to get things done. He just loves people that is all. He has been sleeping in a crate at night inside their home and he seems to like that and has not had any potty accidents. He loves having your attention and getting pets and belly rubs. He tends to sit right close to the children and lets them know he wants their attention as well, which makes them a little annoyed if they are trying to watch a movie. He is good with them though just pushy when he wants their attention. He is working on house manners especially while people are eating and listening better when people tell him no. UPDATE ON ARLO !!! ARLO HAS NOW BEEN ADOPTED AND IS WITH HIS NEW FAMILY IN STURGIS, SD !! He was waiting outside for them to show up this morning after his bath. He walked right up to them like he knew them both forever !! His new name is APOLLO and I will share his adoption post soon !! This handsome little guy wants his new adopters in STURGIS, SD to know that he has had 4 treatments now and can come home with you in about 10 more days !! We will be in touch soon to work out the details.
