Southern Star Stables Self Care and Full Care Horse Boarding in business for 36 years. Experience in nutrition for senior, young, performance and pleasure horses.

A place for everyone to enjoy their horse and enjoy the cookouts. Sorry but we do not board stallions. Offering self care or full care services in pasture or stall boarding. We have 2 riding arenas, 100 x 80 and 200 x 100 with obstacles. Stalls are 12 x 12 with sliding doors and windows in each stall. Secured tack room for boarders. Owner lives on property and has been in business for over 30 year

s with experience in nutrition for the senior, young, performance or pleasure horse. Clinics on nutrition, hooves and working horses will be coming throughout the year. We do not board stallions.

Until everything is resolved with this EVH -1 I will not be allowing horses to leave or come onto this facility. Sorry but this is for the protection of all the horses being boarded here.

Just a friendly reminder to all boarders here and elsewhere. I know November, December and January are expensive months with Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. But you need to think about what the barn owner and her employees need. Your board covers your horses feed, hay, water, the upkeep of fencing, electricity, cleaning of stalls plus them looking after your horse to make sure they are fed and have water no matter the weather.
So please make sure you pay your board on the 1st of each month, especially in November, December and January so your boarding facility can operate.

Our Story

Offering partial care and full care services Horse boarding, for individual pastures and stalls. We offer our services in natural horsemanship training. Located in Greer, SC. We board all types of horses including ponies and miniature horses. All riding disciplines welcome. Come see our Farm where families come together and enjoy memorable activities and events. Want to visit during the week? Great! You’ll be able to meet and mingle with our boarders and learn cool facts about our horses and training techniques. We have been in business since 1988 and have experience in nutrition for senior horses, expecting mares, foals and much more.

We live on the property so we can keep an eye on your horse(s). We check on them daily to make they have plenty of fresh water.

Also know your law in SC for boarding your horse. If you do not pay your board the stables can and will take your horse for the outstanding balance to sell and recoup their losses. This is a business for many and stables can not and will not subsidize your hobby.
