Please note that Ethan’s Exotic Pets & Aquatics will be closed today, Saturday, June 6, as Ethan and the team will be entertaining and educating guests at the Flowers Kidfest during the Greenwood Festival at the Greenwood Recreation Complex from 9a-12p

We invite everyone to come out and join us as we showcase and share fascinating facts about reptiles, mammals, and all of God’s amazing creatures. It's a great opportunity to get up close with some incredible animals, learn about their care and conservation, and enjoy a fun-filled day with the family.

We look forward to seeing you there and appreciate your understanding while the store is closed for this special community event!

Sugar gliders have officially taken over the store... and honestly, we're okay with it!

Our amazing sugar glider family is looking for their next adventure, and these little marsupials are some of the most fascinating animals you'll ever meet. Native to Australia, New Guinea, and parts of Indonesia, sugar gliders are known for their incredible ability to glide from tree to tree using the special membrane that stretches between their front and back legs.

These social little creatures thrive on companionship and love spending time with both their glider friends and their human families. With proper care, nutrition, and enrichment, sugar gliders can live 10–15 years and form strong bonds with their owners.

A few fun facts:
• Sugar gliders are marsupials, just like kangaroos and koalas.
• They can glide over 150 feet in a single leap in the wild.
• They are most active during the evening and nighttime hours.
• They communicate with a variety of chirps, barks, and other adorable sounds.

Our current sugar glider family is full of personality, curiosity, and endless energy. Whether they're peeking out from a pouch, exploring their habitat, or showing off their acrobatic skills, they're guaranteed to make you smile.

The Zoo Is Coming to Kidfest! 🐍🦎🐐🌸

Ethan’s Exotic Pets & Aquatics and Gavin from Powerhouse Exotics are teaming up to bring an unforgettable animal experience to the South Carolina Festival of Flowers Kidfest!

Come meet an amazing variety of animals up close, including reptiles, mammals, farm animals, and more. Whether you love snakes, tortoises, goats, rabbits, lizards, or just learning about wildlife, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

This is a great opportunity for kids and families to interact with incredible animals, ask questions, learn about conservation, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

We are excited to be part of one of South Carolina’s favorite family events and can't wait to share our passion for animals with all of you!
