OFA tested w/CHIC, DNA tested for CKCSID, DM, DMD, BCAN, & MCADD, MRI tested for CM, SM & PSOM

Always striving to produce the healthiest Cavaliers we can for performance and in the home🐾 Using the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club (UK) as a guide, we do MRI testing to rule out Syrinomyelia and extreme Chiari Malformation in both sire and dam before they are bred. We also get yearly eye and heart clearances by OFA specialists, and OFA clearances on hips and patella.

Great news this morning from our local OFA clinic! Magnolia (5.5 yr) and Vida (3yr) both passed their OFA echocardiograms with flying colors! Now onto Vida’s MRI in Virginia next month! 🤞🏼

We will be looking forward to one more litter with Magnolia this year before she is retired from breeding with an awesome boy who is also DNA, OFA & MRI tested with a clear echo! I’m not sure when our next litter will be, so if you are interested in a sporty puppy or pet puppy, please feel free to reach out to me.

Weekend Shoutouts!

- Phoenix x Aiden’s Bean Sprouts litter met up at K9 Splash Zone in Ohio to do a 1 year later photoshoot, and the whole family ran a FCAT course together! Shoutout to Cooper for winning this year! This weekend Cider had her first experience on a dirt AKC trial with see through fencing at the Cavalier Specialty in Bulls Gap, Tennessee! Her first AKC points got her the novice high in trial awards for both Friday and Saturday! She came up sick this afternoon so she was pulled from Sunday’s competition, but I am so proud of my little baby dog’s first big trial!🍎💕

My bestest boy ever becomes a teenager today! We celebrated by cheering on his granddaughters’ first FCAT runs (who hit 22mph), and also participated in a fun run with him, his daughter Phoenix, and granddaughter Jolene. I was impressed that he still could keep up with both of them nicely, even at his age. If I could clone this boy I would time and time again - he has been the bestest boy on the planet and has produced some amazing kids💙 Happy 13th Birthday Peeve!💙🎉
