Last week we posted a little updated from Stewie with Canine Companions, and today we’d like to update you on Finn, our current sponsor with K9s for Warriors! 😍

“Hi there, it’s me—Finn! I just wanted to give you a little paw-written update on how I’ve been doing lately. I’ve been spending time with a new trainer, and let me tell you—it’s been a game changer! We’ve been working closely every day, and I’m starting to really understand what’s expected of me. My trainer says I’ve been making big improvements, and I can feel it too. I’m more confident, more focused, and wagging my tail more than ever!

Some of my very best skills are down, under, and lap. I can lie down and stay in place like a champ, and when it’s time to tuck under a table or chair, I slide right in like I was born to do it. My favorite, though, is lap—I love resting my head gently on someone’s lap and giving comfort when they need it most. It’s kind of my specialty. I’m still working on my impulse control (because squirrels, am I right?) and my loose leash walking, but with my new trainer’s help, I’m making steady progress.

I know I’ve still got a little ways to go, but I’m getting closer every day to being ready for my forever person. I can’t wait to be matched with a veteran who needs me, and I promise I’ll give them everything I’ve got—my skills, my focus, and all of my love. Thank you for being part of my journey and cheering me on. Your support means everything to me. Sending you big tail wags and nose boops!

At Dogtopia of Denver Tech Center, we know every dog is unique, which is why we don't believe in one-size-fits-all playgroups. 🐶

Each pup at our daycare starts with a Meet & Greet, where we learn about their personality, energy level, and play style.

Name: Sir Jaxamillion (aka Jax) 🩵
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Mix
Age: 11 years 7 months
Favorite Activities: Being outside, being next to the coaches, hanging with my best buds
Friends: Wesley the miniature schnauzer, Titus the Chihuahua Mix, Angus the Corgi mix, Huxley the Chihuahua mix, Gizmo the Cavapoo
Best Qualities: Say hello to the distinguished Sir Jaxamillion—though around here, we just call him “Jax”! He may not look a day over five, but don’t let his youthful appearance fool you—Jax is an old soul with a calm, wise presence. He’s full of energy for his age and has found a few pup pals who match his mellow vibe. Jax is a rock star both in the toy box and in the wee rooms, always showing perfect manners. He absolutely adores his coaches and can often be found right by their side. While he loves his younger brother, Milo Cherry, Jax also enjoys his independence and embraces his solo adventures at daycare. The outdoors is Jax’s happy place—you’ll often find him basking in the sun or exploring with curiosity. He’s also a big fan of photo parties and never says no to a treat day! DOGS OF THE WEEK:
Name: Hank & Cici 💙💜
Breed: German Shepherd Mix and Boxer Mix
Age: 1 Year and 2 months, and 5 years and 5 months
Favorite Activities: Hank enjoys wrestling around with his besties, howling on top of the play structures, and snuggling on the cots with a friend. Cici loves playing with her besties, being outside, getting love from her favorite coaches.
Friends: Hank’s besties are Oatis the Husky/Shepherd mix, Gustavo the Collie mix, Ginny the Lab/pit mix, and obviously Cici! Cici has her own posse which includes Baker the German Shepherd mix, Coco the Goldendoodle, Merle the Great Pyrenees mix, Crouton the German Shepherd mix, and Kirby the beagle/pit mix.
Best Qualities: This week, we’re thrilled to feature a very special sibling pair as our Dogs of the Week—meet Hank and Cici! Hank and Cici share a bond that’s truly one-of-a-kind. Wherever one goes, the other is close behind. Hank is the younger of the two, full of enthusiasm and pride when it comes to his big sister. He loves introducing her to his friends and showing her off like the superstar he knows she is. Cici takes her big sister role seriously, watching over Hank and his buddies with a calm, caring presence. She’s the gentle guardian of the group, making sure everyone’s having fun and playing fair. Though they’re incredibly close, Hank and Cici each have their own social circles and love spending time with their individual friends, too. But it’s clear—they’re happiest when they’re together.
Their sweet, balanced personalities—Cici’s calm complementing Hank’s energy—have quickly captured the hearts of our entire staff. It’s hard not to fall in love with these two and the special connection they share. Congratulations, Hank and Cici! 🫶🏼🥳🎉

Safety is a top priority at our daycare. We:

🐾: separate pups in different playrooms based on size and play style so they stay around like-minded friends

🧡: have an incredible team of doggie experts who are skilled in interacting with large groups of dogs

📋: perform an initial assessment to ensure all dogs are a good fit

🌬️: use an advanced HVAC system to filter harmful particles out and bring clean air in

🧽: deep clean each playroom twice a day using dog-safe cleaning products to maintain a safe playing area

👟: use comfy rubberized flooring in our playrooms so dogs won’t slip or hurt themselves on tough gravel or cement. Plus it's better for their paws and joints!
