We have a lot going on to announce over the next week or so but first we are going to start off with the independence litter Birthday.
Happy 2nd Birthday to the independence litter, from Storm (Mom) and Piper (littermate sister) and Maru (littermate brother). Maru's name in the litter was Waverly and he was the only Silver Fox male in that litter. Please everyone in the litter feel free to upload a now picture
Maru came back to us last summer when he was about 1 year 1 month old. He was with a wonderful family whom life events come up over the year keeping them from getting in his schedule training, and unfortunately their other pwd and him after a year decided they didn't like each other.
He is now ready to be rehomed-and adopted.
Maru came to us last summer in need of plenty of training and working with us and our K-9 trainer we proceeded work him on a daily basis with obedience training, continued socialization and off leash work for almost a year now.
He rides with me in the car regularly as part of his training and socialization.
He is a very very sweet boy and loyal companion, but his new adoption family will have to be well experienced with obedience and consistency as he is extremely smart.
We have not had any dog fights or issues with him other than a small tiff with Morgan our Alpha leader whom we addressed with her immediately.
This is going to be a major heart breaker for us when he leaves, but he needs his forever family. He has been a pleasure, but it is only fair for him to have more time with his forever family while he is young and only needs to focus time on him.
We don't mind and will take the necessary time finding the right home. All though he is doing well in our home with other dogs we will be looking for a family without other pets.
