Rainbows Edge Equine Transition Center We train, shelter & rehab abused & neglected horses confiscated by Law Enforcement to prepare for adoption. This is at no cost to the rescue.

Our page gives people a chance to follow a rescue horse from the time it comes in, up until adoption. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that no one gets to see. We all care, and so many want to help, that we want to provide the details of the wonderful results that come from your generous donations. The rescue horses come to us from other rescues or we bring them in on our own. We provide the care, training, and housing for the horse and all the love and attention we can give. The Rescue covers all Vet, feed,and farrier costs thru donations. We are a not-for profit that is 100% volunteers. Our devoted trainers work for minimal charge and when there are no funds to pay them they don't just stop they continue as volunteers. Please follow us for daily postings and invite all your friends. Please feel free to follow even if you don't want to donate when the call goes out. When we send out a call for donations it will be to help pay for hay and feed or vet or pay the trainer, that works with the horse right at our farm. Total weekly donations will be posted and you will be told where the money is being spent . We want people to know what happens to their money they donate and be able to see the progress of the horse and have a part in the bitter sweet experience when a horse gets healthy and finds its forever home. There is so much joy in your heart for them and their future but a little sorrow in their leaving. But then you can help another and sadly there will always be another. Rainbows Edge needs to get the Vet bill paid . No Vet No Rescue.

We are going to have an old fashion fundraiser called PASS THE HAT! The practice of "passing the hat" to collect donations has roots in community fundraising and charitable giving, with examples dating back to the 19th century. It evolved from a literal act of passing a hat for donations to a more metaphorical way of soliciting funds. The practice is used for various purposes, including supporting community organizations.

Right now we need to collect $4800 to pay a past due bill for the horses.

This is how this works: We need 480 people to drop $10 in the hat.

That can be done through: Paypal [email protected]

Thank you Mustang Creek. Mystic turned 3 its time for her to ride. We reached out to this training facility because of their training method with communication and a gentle hand.
Mystic has an adopter that has been coming and spending time with her from the times the ground work started. She has been by Mystics side for Vet and Farrier. She is not a horse trainer and there is not an approved trainer near her farm so Mystic has stayed with Rainbows Edge until under saddle. The adopter will also work with Mustang Creeks trainer this way the 2 leave together as partners that speak the same language.
We do not like putting the weight of a rider on a horse until they reach 3 yrs and even then they are not jumping or racing with a rider. Mystic is being trained for trail riding so she will have extensive desensitizing. The trainer will be working with Mystic at a speed with training that works for this horse. This way always growing in knowledge through education and communication with a gentle hand. Horses are like any other animal including humans some learn fast some slower and if you bring any of them forward step by step as they understand its a win for all involved.

Help us welcome Mystic to the herd! When Rainbows Edge Equine Transition Center called asking for some help training this sweet baby, we couldn't say no. So far, she is making new friends and doing really well ☺️
