eers to assist in this rescue journey and become the leader and partner for horses and humans a like. Our page gives people a chance to follow a rescue horse from the time it comes in, up until adoption. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that no one gets to see. We all care, and so many want to help, that we want to provide the details of the wonderful results that come from your generous donations. The rescue horses come to us from other rescues or we bring them in on our own. We provide the care, training, and housing for the horse and all the love and attention we can give. The Rescue covers all Vet, feed, and farrier costs thru donations. We are a not-for profit that is 100% volunteers. Our devoted trainers work for minimal charge and when there are no funds to pay them they don't just stop they continue as volunteers. Please follow us for daily postings and invite all your friends. Please feel free to follow even if you don't want to donate when the call goes out. When we send out a call for donations it will be to help pay for hay and feed or vet or pay the trainer, that works with the horse right at our farm. Total weekly donations will be posted and you will be told where the money is being spent . We want people to know what happens to their money they donate and be able to see the progress of the horse and have a part in the bitter sweet experience when a horse gets healthy and finds its forever home. There is so much joy in your heart for them and their future but a little sorrow in their leaving. But then you can help another and sadly there will always be another. So please join us in this Journey and invite all you friends and family.

This past month was a gift to us all and the reason we all come together for the horses that come into Rainbows Edge . Because all of you came together with your donations , prayers , volunteering and never gave up on them look what happened the month of August.1) Chief was adopted by his trainer and trusted friend Jilly Hutto. 2) Mystic adopted by Ruth Mendoza , finishing up her training and going home to a brand new barn built just for her and her new pasture mate. 3) Beau went to his home through our senior program where his is loved and adored by his new family The Westwoods with 3 little children that he is carefully teaching how to care for a horse and ride. 4) PC adopted by 2 wonderful people John and Sue Hopkins. PC chose them and when he sees their car he starts snorty and spinning all excited. 5) Trooper adopted also by John and Sue, he is at the trainers with his now human Mom going also and learning with him so they leave together as partners. Their pasture area is being created now for them to go home.

The Vet is coming Friday to vaccinate Trooper in 3 weeks after that the Vet will be back to do boosters and his teeth. We have a horse here at the rescue that needs to be seen by the Vet that arrived a couple weeks ago. They are coming tomorrow. The Vet bill right now is just under $700 thats before these visits. If we have no donations to pay a Vet its only a matter of time that they will not come. We had a post running asking for the Vets expenses and received a $20 donation. We can not and will not let the Vet bill get up to $6000 again. If you care to make a donation you can call AVS directly at 850-386-3619 or pay pal [email protected]. or zell and venmo- related phone # 850-509-5224. Rainbows Edge Inc -The horses thank you

The hat is back. Right now at Rainbows Edge Equine Transition Center we have 3 horses needing to see the Vet. At this time we have an out standing Vet bill of $700 at AVS Equine Medical and Surgical Hospital , thats before having the next 3 cared for. Your help with donations are needed so the rescue can continue to care for the horses with us and be ready for the next ones coming in . Sadly there will always be a next one and we need to be ready. If you care to make a donation you can call AVS directly at 850-386-3619 or pay pal [email protected]. or zell and venmo- related phone # 850-509-5224. The horses thank you.

In many Native American traditions, dragonflies symbolize transformation, adaptability, and renewal, often representing a connection to water and the spirit world. They are seen as messengers of change, with their ability to transition from aquatic nymphs to aerial adults mirroring personal transformation. Different tribes associate them with various aspects, such as healing, protection, and even the spirits of ancestors

WAIT FOR IT , WAIT FOR IT . THERE IT IS . Sue has made it into Troopers heart. To watch the gift of feeling safe and letting the human know what it means is so heart warming to watch.

When a County has a Rescue under contract the Sheriff Dept never has to leave a horse in a bad situation because they have no holding area or don't have the funds for medical, feed and care. They know the horse will get the care it needs so they can do their job and enforce the laws put in place for their State.
This all happens because of everyone from those that fight for the laws to protect all animals from abuse and neglect to those that enforce the laws. Those that take the animals in to heal and rehome whether a not for profit rescue or person. Then there is you the huge rescue village that gets behind every animal whether by volunteering or donating or spreading the word help is needed. Rescue should always be seen a we and us because it takes everyone together to make it happen for the animals in need. Thank you everyone
