I want to take a moment to talk about something that happens far too often.. people trying to negotiate the price of a well-bred puppy like they’re buying something off Craigslist. I say this with love, but also with firmness: please don’t haggle with responsible breeders.

When you reach out to a reputable breeder, you’re not just paying for a puppy. You’re supporting:

✔️ Health testing (hips, elbows, heart, eyes, DNA panels)
✔️ Quality veterinary care and vaccines
✔️ High-quality food, supplements, and enrichment
✔️ Hours of socialization, training, and hands-on care
✔️ A breeder who’s spent years studying genetics, structure, and temperament
✔️ A lifetime of support and guidance by

This is not a “business” in the traditional sense—it’s a labor of love. Most of us are barely breaking even after expenses, and we do it for the breed, not for profit.

Trying to talk a breeder down in price can come across as dismissive of everything we pour into our dogs. We don’t negotiate because we’ve already priced fairly for the quality, care, and responsibility involved.

If a breeder’s program isn’t in your budget right now, that’s okay. But instead of asking for discounts, consider saving up or finding a reputable rescue. Respect the effort behind ethical breeding.

We love what we do and we deeply care about where our puppies go. Let’s respect each other. ❤️
