In January of this year, our Teddy started losing vision in his left eye. It was determined he was developing a cataract. His right eye quickly developed a cataract as well. He was functionally blind in the first photo taken a few days before surgery. He could only see light and dark. The second photo was taken a few days ago after surgery. The third photo is Teddy immediately after surgery on May 28. He will have limited activity for the remainder of June but we hope the rest of the summer will be exciting for our pup and his restored vision.

Teddy wishes everyone a Happy Easter! He’s spending one last weekend before the summer at the beach. Teddy had a sudden onset of cataracts this spring. He’s having surgery on both eyes in the next few weeks. We will update about him when the date gets closer. For now, he’s enjoying some sun and getting accustomed to his e-collar.

We are at the Ultimutt race in Greenville, SC at The Hartness today until 2 pm. Come check out our new beds and watch dog/human teams run the obstacle course.

Happy National Pet Day to Teddy who is one of our namesakes and Hank, our chief product tester. Fun fact - we do not pose them for our photos. We put the beds down and they step onto them without prompting.

They’re here! Colorful frames! We’ve added multiple frame colors to choose from for your bed. Red, green, pink, blue, orange, purple along with black, gray, and original white. We’ve also added several new patterns - Pink Camo, Atlas, and GI Camo. Our frame colors accent the patterns of the fabric to give a unique look.

We have been working day and night on our new products we will announce in the coming days. We are volunteers with and took yesterday afternoon off to give a ride to Harper. She’s 9 months old and was hit by a car. She’s entering rescue with two broken front legs and a gigantic heart. Here’s to you Harper! We hope your fresh start gives you the life you truly deserve.

When we say aloud beds are durable and long lasting, we mean it. This is Rip, the sire of Sea Island Springers of Edisto on one of our first Palmetto beds. As you can see, his bed has been heavily used but is still going strong three years later.
